As the camera flickers to life, a young girl with a red outfit and long brown pigtails can be seen glaring at the camera. She clears her throat, and begins speaking in a soft, monotone voice.

This is a very poor choice to do to the Ultimate Assassin, someone trained to react to the slightest jerk of a hair. She draws her gun, and kicks the door in, shooting in the direction of the breathing she hears.

*Just then, the lights came on and Nano comes out of hiding, dodging the bullet, literally and loudly exclaiming.*

“SURPRISE! HAPPY LATE BIRTHDAY, MAKI!” *Confetti falls from the ceiling and party poppers goes off. In that moment, Maki sees that her whole house has been decorated to look like a Birthday party.*

Maki looks furious, figuring Nano should've known to refrain from spooking her. And this isn't out of anger, but concern that she could've seriously killed her favorite cub. Not to mention that it was just plain cruel and poorly thought out to try and use sensory stimuli to shock the woman so traumatized as the Ultimate Assassin. This could have ended very poorly.

“I-I’ sorry......I just wanted to surprise you. I missed your birthday by accident so.....I wanted to make up for lost time.”

She hands them one of her pigtails in its entirety, not one to say that they're not allowed.
