"Hiii! Kaya's so glad it's working now!!" The girl grinned, bouncing on her feet. "Kaya's name is Kaya, it's nice to meet you! Kaya was told that this place is good for so.. sosh... talking with people!! Will you give Kaya a promo? Pretty pleaaase??" As the camera flickers to life, a woman can be seen standing in front of its lens with children playing behind her. She offers a small smile and a gentle wave.

"Greetings. My name is Lillian Onyx, and I am a scientist at Team Danganronpa and the runner of The Ultimate Project or The Kill Switch Experiment. After Danganronpa V3 ruined our reputation, we decided to combine the genes of certain participants to make children that we've embedded with an experimental gene called 'HER' or 'Hereditary Evil Raiser'. Those who were bred with non-compatible genes unfortunately perished. My mission is to study the gene and its effects on the children, and transform these regular kids into combatant soldiers.
