Small rant I'm posting here too but please y'all STOP PRESSURING DEVS TO FINISH THEIR GAMES/VNS!!!!
Games take YEARS to develop and that's even fully funded with an entire team
Y'all gotta stop and think for a moment, most of your fave indie devs are working on the project all by themselves, ALONE, that they fund THEMSELVES. Some indie studios have less than 5 people and you expect them to plop out an entire game within a month? Less than a year? Do you hear yourself? People have lives outside of the internet ffs
They can't work on it 24/7, it's not healthy and a fast downward spiral into burnout and then guess what? IT'LL TAKE EVEN LONGER OR THE POOR BUGGERS WILL SCRAP IT COMPLETELY and don't you dare give me any bullshit about needing a fixation to function because I'M THE SAME WAY BUT I AIN'T GONNA HARASS PEOPLE
Some of y'all got the delulu and think these guys are like gods or celebrities

They're just people like you and me and frankly I know several who are VERY uncomfortable with the pedestal y'all have placed them on
So what if it takes 3+ years for them to finish? You want a short and rushed game or do you want a fucking STORY? Lore, immersion, the whole shabang?
Grow the fuck up, learn some patience, and ffs stop trying to fuck it up for the rest of us yea?
