The year is 2020 and the mutant population couldn’t be in any greater need. Their powers have been reduced. The pieces of war have seemingly settled, but the secrets have only just started to surface. Friends have turned their backs on each other. Alliances have been severed while new bonds have been created. Xavier’s shadow still looms over the scattered X-Men, while they are unable to face each other. Their Field Leader abandoned them when they needed him most, as he is haunted by the failures that led to the ultimate prices. The Brains chose to work with those that had everyone but Mutantkind in their best wishes. The death of their friend still tugs at their emotions. While Sinister plots in the background, Selene has stepped up with Krakoa as a peaceful sanctum for mutants to live amongst their kind without immediate fear of reality trying to rid of their existence. They’ve survived Sentinel attacks, Apocalypse Wars, Invasion, Brood Infestation, and Shadow King assault, but their greatest threat could be amongst them all.

I can’t say how excited I am to get this rolling, but just know that I’ve slept far less this past week. Well... I can’t totally attribute it to starting the group but know that this is a passion project and I will be totally working hard to keep the steam building. [Sins of X] is what I’d consider an adjacent story arc that travels along the same path as what they call Earth-616 of The Marvel Universe. It IS comic-based. I know a lot of us are excited to see what manifests in the Cinematic trajectory. It just isn’t what you’re going to get here. I mean. Some ideas may be inspired. Very, very lightly. It is for the mature audiences and writers that dwell in the M|M!communities of roleplay.  If you want something similar to the comics, want a new experience, or just want to shake some shit up, I encourage you to take a look.
