LGBT story in Kin medaru Otoko:

Even if this was a comedy they treat the subject with a lot of delicacy and it add an incredible dramatic component to the story-line. And how Chinen’s character was so scared, because the person that finally gives him a place to belong is actually in love with him, instead of repulsed it was refreshing, at least for the comedy gender. Also it gives a backstory to that “Onee” character that we normally see in Japanese varieties shows (how was for all of them coming out in Japan’s 70′s or 80, until these movie i never thought about it). I highly recommend Kin Medaru Otoko, a comedy that makes you think in more that one way. Kudos to Uchimura sensei and Chinen.
