Kindaichi Shonen no Jikenbo N (金田一少年の事件簿N (Neo)) Whump List

Synopsis: High school student Kindaichi Hajime solves a variety of difficult cases that he gets entangled in with the deductive powers inherited from his grandfather, the famous detective Kindaichi Kosuke.

Note: There's apparently like so many iterations of the adaptation of the manga, but I only watched the one with my boy Yamada Ryosuke, so I don't know what happens in the other adaptations.

Little side note for the movies, if you're watching the second movie (about the puppeteer guy) warning for slight arachnophobia and insectophobia: at about 16:28–16:41(a scorpio and a tarantula) + at ~28:10 (a centipede for a couple of seconds)

Ep. 01: drugged, fainted

Ep. 02: nearly hit by a bus, knocked out by sleeping gas, kidnapped, forced to play in this weirdass death escape room, wearing a mask with an explosive locked on his head, trapped in a room full of fire for a second, coughing from sleeping gas, knocked out by it (he thought it was poison), in hospital

Ep. 03: stomach-ache, in hospital on examination

Ep. 04: scared (semi-comical?), fell from a high place, knocked out by sleeping gas

Ep. 05: pretends to be hypnotized, feeling tired, physically subdued, feeling tired and out of it, seemingly stabs his friend under hypnosis(?), arrested, escaped, gun to the head, at gunpoint, hands tied, locked up in a room, points a gun at someone, sees the news of his friend passing away

Ep. 06: running away from police, at gunpoint, running away from police, feeling dizzy, fainted, feeling feverish, helped to walk, collapsed in someone's arms, cared for, forearm cut with a knife

Braiding Edward's hair headcanons (Edward Elric x reader)

Okay so i'm a Yamada Ryosuke fan who watched Fullmetal Alchemist for him and fell for Edward so that's totally based on the live action movies akalskalsja reader and Edward are about the same age as Yamada was during the filming so early 20s? Yep, i hope you enjoy it 🥹

• You and Edward have been secretly crushing friends for a long time and one thing among the million ones about him that always fascinated you was his hair

• I mean look at that fabulous hair??

• Heck his golden locks were longer than your own hair

• You wanted to touch it 🤲🏻

• Was it soft?

• How did it feel like?

• Man, you had always imagined what that pretty hair would look like in a braid....

• But you never had the guts to ask him to do it lol

• One day both of you were there studying together and he looked extra cute

• He wore a low ponytail and his bangs were falling a bit over his face

• His hair was so specially tempting that day, you felt a sudden rush of courage and asked him:

• "Ed, can I braid your hair?"

• He looked at you so shocked you immediatly blushed and regretted your words

• "No! I mean, i was just kiddi-" - you started saying, but he interrupted you:

• "Yes. Yes, of course you can. Please, (Y/N)" - he said, with that sweet smile of his and trying to hide his own blush at the thought of being so close to you

• "Ah. Okay" - you said with a shy smile - "uhm please sit right here" - you motioned to a short chair close to you

• He did as you said and you almost couldn't hide your excitement as he took off his hair tie and let his hair loose for you

• You were finally going to the touch the Edward Elric's hair??

• And it was so much better than you expected

• His hair was even more beautiful that close and it was so soft

• It felt like running your hands through silk

• You started to braid and it felt like such an intimate moment

• The two of you, no talking, just a comfortable silence that felt just right and the feeling of your fingers on his hair

• And don't fool yourself, he was enjoying it just as much ajskajskaj

• You obviously couldn't see it, but he had his eyes closed, enjoying the moment and feeling his heart skip a beat everytime your fingertips lightly touched a bit of his skin

• When you got to the end, you kinda wished his hair was longer so you both could stay like that for a bit more ajskajskaj

• He handed you his iconic red hair tie so you could finish the braid and you felt all tingly inside as your hands slightly touched

• "Tadaaa, here it is!" - you said in the most playful tone you could fake, trying to let go of the warmth in your cheeks - "i think it's super cute, b-but if you don't like i can try it again"

• He softly touched the braid and checked his reflection on a window nearby, his eyes lighting up at the sight

• "It's perfect, (Y/N). Thank you" - he said with such softness that you felt the butterflies going crazy in your stomach

• After that day, Edward himself asked several times for you to braid his hair again

• It became like his go-to hairstyle ajdkajskaj

• "Uhm... if you're not too busy, could you maybe do that braid again, please? It's really comfortable cause my hair doesn't get in the way" - he asked trying to seem super nonchalant but deep down feeling that thrill of being close to you again

• You weren't sure he actually liked the way you did his hair or if he was just being nice to you, but you happily did it everytime he asked

• Litte did you know it was his strategy for spending more quality time with you 🫣

• It was also his way of always carrying something special with him, because, no matter what happened, everytime he touched that braid he remembered it was done by the hands of someone he loves: you ♡
