artists fuck better because we turn sex into art, masterpieces, mattresses become canvases where we can paint our love to someone with bodies.

my hot take of the day is that ilya actually runs a tighter ship than shane, not like as captain or anything i mean in the household.
1) afraid of being lazy 2) military son 3) slavic. shane has certain preferences for things sensory wise which is why he is neat abt his stuff, ilya will kill himself & everyone in the room there's a Difference. iykyk
@knucklecurve the way i deadass forgot the most crucial part. he is a control freak
#skip divorce this, #skip divorce that, okay but what was the inciting incident? What was the straw the broke the camel's back?
Because I think that Scott thinks that this is all Ilya Rozanov's fault.
They're at The Kingfisher, Scott's got an ice pack on his knee under the table because it won't stop acting up and he's got more tricky joints than not by the point. His entire body is screaming retirement, and he's a little pissed about it.
The only thing that makes him feel better is that Hollander is walking with a little bit of a limp after today's game. So when Ilya chirps him about being ancient he chirps right back, telling him to look after his own husband's geriatric joints. And Ilya looks over his shoulder at where Shane is standing at the bar, leaning his weight a little tenderly against it.
But Ilya doesn't rise to the bait, or defend his loving husband. No, the fucker just does that little chuckle that means he's gonna stir the pot even more and says, "Ah, no no no. We played The Bellboy last night. The Bellboy always needs it rough." and then he just fellates his beer bottle and winks at Scott like he just won the Being Gay Married Olympics.
And it sticks with Scott, more than he wants to admit. Sure he's heard them going at it through the thin hotel walls at All Stars, he's seen the hickeys and the scratches, he's heard the whispers about the Hollanov Fuck Machine, but this pushes him over the limit.
"Played The Bellboy", like it's a song on their pregame playlist, or a TV series to comfort watch. "Played The Bellboy," like golden boy Hollander can just put on a hat and transform into someone that gets fucked so hard he's walking funny the next day and likes it. "Played the Bellboy" like they picked it out of a lineup, a menu of options they flip through to see what they're craving that evening.
It won't leave his brain, and so the next time the Admirals play the Centaurs (get trounced by them, 5-1, Jesus), Scott finds himself slamming his beer down on the bar top of Monks and blurting out, "What else do you play besides The fucking Bellboy?"
And Ilya Ra-ra-Rasputin Rozanov switches to vodka, leans both his elbows onto the countertop, and opens Pandora's box.
This makes it so much worse. Worse because now he knows things he can't unknow about his friend and favorite enemy, about Mister Landlord, about Free Use Fridays at the cottage and custom collars for Ilya so he can be the good boy, good Puppy, about edging and cnc and plugs and lube in every room, about...
It breaks him. Truly, that's the only word for it. Breaks his brain like hockey has broken his body, exhausted and ready to be put out to pasture. Breaks him worse to think that they've been at it for over a decade and still discovering ways to play and explore before they tuck the filthiest parts of themselves back into their toy chest, step into the light, and proceed to be the best players at a sport Scott has spent his entire life striving to be good at.
So Scott comes home to his objectively lovely and smart and sexy husband and all he can see is the things they're not. They're not breaking beds and using safewords and playing Serial Killer and Victim or Museum Curator and Thief or whatever the fuck. And the worst part is, Scott doesn't even want to. He wants to want to, but he's exhausted by the idea of putting in even more effort beyond the way they have to find positions that don't hurt his battered joints, find time in the calendar between Kip's classes and his game schedule, find desire for this beautiful man he shares a life with in ways that feel more like a roommate than a lover.
One random Tuesday morning he's reading the latest GQ and flips past a photo spread of Shane Hollander and that motherfucker Ilya Rozanov, shirt unbuttoned and pants half down, crawling over his husband like he's staking a claim, like he's showing off his prize, like he's once again won the Being Gay Married Olympics.
In the background Kip is setting up the blender, chatting about his schedule, updating Scott on the Kingfisher drama he's missed, but all Scott can do is trace his fingers over the glossy photos and think, yeah, okay, you fucker, you won.
So when Kip asks him, "Babe, do you want extra glucosamine in your smoothie?" Scott doesn't think at all before he says, "I want a divorce."
I turn to Ares.
Thanks to Tyler Miles Lockett who allowed me to draw inspiration from his ARES piece for page 2! Look at his etsy page it's SICK

You’ve heard of the Roaring 20s........
now get ready for the Screaming 20s - coming to a decade near you in 2020
is it too early or can we start screaming now
in retrospect perhaps we should have started sooner
this post is the equivalent of a newspaper from the day of the outbreak being blown past by the wind after you wake up in a post apocalyptic world

atla just so happened to write one of the most insane and complex brother sister relationships in all of television, and yet for some reason everyone focused on zuko and azula instead, even though they are basically just normal siblings, and as such not even that interesting ..
their dynamic is more fraught and tragic than you could ever comprehend……
this☝️ is just a typical sibling interaction
katara and sokka are what happens when you are your brother’s mother and your brother also tries to be your father. you love them, you hate them, you’re half of them, you can’t stand them, you look after them, they keep you safe.
azula and zuko are both just gifted kid burnouts with a dad that only loves the winner.
#yeah when they're not trying to kill each other azula and Zuko are p normal. #katara and sokka on the other hand spent the majority of their childhood trying to raise each other #and were also the ONLY kids in their age group that they ever interacted with. #they are so. they're so. #''i don't remember what my mom looks like I just picture katara'' WHEN HE HAS HIS MOTHER'S FACE. kills me. the greatest plot point in Teen Wolf is still, without question, the fact that sometimes turning into a werewolf goes wrong and you turn into a lizard instead
I don’t care if you hate Hayden. In canon he is one of the best allies in the books, bar his admittedly shitty behavior in that dinner short story which he learns from. Almost all of those “characters” that you say are better than Hayden are basically canon ocs that you gave fandom stock personalities to because apparently the only way to be a true ally is to be a big goofy himbo who treats Roz like a bro and worships Shane like the god of hockey. You think Shane wants to be friends with a bunch of big goofy himbos who worship the ground he walks on? That’s uncomfortable as shit! He’d rather take his steady friends who support him and treat him like a person. A friend who acts like a real fucking person, with flaws and misunderstandings and an imperfect understanding of him. But who tries anyway.
someone could be falling in love with your smile.
I dont care about matt damon and ben affleck but they gave us Which could mean nothing so they are like rpf patron saints in a way
Every time amber heard gets brought up as the butt of a joke I am obviously expected to agree with and accept, I face this internal battle. Like it’s often this aside in conversation where I don’t want to derail the larger point, depending on the person. But also. Did you know it was a civil case? Did you know she was sued over the op-Ed about dv that did not mention Depp by name? Did you know about their age gap when they first met? Did you know about his extensive, and expensively suppressed, history of violence and abuse? Did you know about the perfume in the bathroom during the trial? Have you read The Gift of Fear (and thus know that certain abusers prolong abuse within the courts)? Did you ever consider that the inundation of reels and other short form videos during that joke of a trial, was by design? Did you know I don’t much use Facebook, or YouTube, but whether logged out or logged in, all my suggestions were cruelly mocking her?? Did you know about the Saudi money? Did you know we all have a predisposition to savage women? Did you know we are all excited when we have an excuse to direct misogyny towards a rationalized target? Did you know expressing misogyny is conditioned to inherently feel good? Did you ever wonder if you fell for a scheme on a scale beyond the comprehension of the ordinary individual, within scope, expense, and effort? Nah she’s probably just a bitch.
