Hey everyone, I wrote another thing! A short, four chapter side story to my fic Could Be Worse, that takes place after Chapter 29:

Wildrider is happy to tag along on Misfire's errand, anything to get away from his siblings! But things don't go exactly as planned, and the two get into a little bit of trouble when they run into an Aerialbot, and then a foul of the locals.

When you were told to snap your sister out of being sad, but ended up making yourself sad also, so you have to comfort each other now.

I really like the interaction between Breakdown and Drag Strip in this chapter. Just two troubled siblings keeping each other company because they're both very lonely.

if many of the Cons are starting to defect, or stop fighting, I'm very curious how the three combiner teams of the Cons are handling it. Especially the Stunticons being handbuilt by Megs, do they have some kind of complex over him dying and coming back (especially for Motormaster)? Were the Combaticons loyalty coded in here as well or are they free agents. And what is keeping the Constructicons with the Cons?

love seeing the glimpses of other characters in your AU!

I dont think the Stunticons even noticed Megatron was dead for three years :P

And just to answer the question about the Combaticons, I’m gonna say they werent like completely reformatted like they were in the cartoon but they were installed with some kind of “kill switch” to incentivise them to behave. I also imagine due to the way they were made into a combiner team, they can be forced to combine and Bruticus is probably somewhat loyalty coded.

The Constructicons are still with the Cons cuz they’re good hard working union men. Jk, It’s mainly Scrapper’s idea, they’re loyal to Scrapper and Scrapper’s loyal to Megs.
