Question, do any of your characters have like fears or PTSD in certain situations?

Cleon was found atop a building, fear of heights or anything

Clark was shot, does he sometimes have PTSD from like loud noises that sounds somewhat similar to a gunshot? Like a car backfiring or something.

Lenny was hit by a vehicle, I think you see where this is going

So let’s hear it, how much therapy does each character need?

For the ones mentioned

- Cleon feels like his body is not his. It’s like he’s wearing a body suit. Cleon once broke his face during an episode he had about it. Being around mirrors makes him feel worse. Also he’s afraid of heights, it’s something he always had pre amnesia.

- Clark is good at pretending it didn’t affect him, he has a habit of keeping things like this to himself. He always feels a burning sting in his face when he hears loud sudden noises

- Lenny was more mad about being hit by a car, she learned not to stand next to lamps in the fog. But Lenny is traumatized by finding her friend’s hollowed out corpse. The memory of it is seared into her mind. She even has semi permeant tear marks on her face.

Hello! I have a few questions regarding some characters designs. First, why does Jinx have a hole on the side of her box, and why was it a highlight on the character sheet?

Secondly, can Jinx sit down on furniture? Like a chair or bench, or does she just stand all day? the legs look like they would get in the way and the box is pretty bulky.

Thirdly, Why does Alfio wear white? I could only imagine if they got “bodily fluid” on their clothes, they would never get it out! Black would be more practical. Not saying I don’t like the design, it just seems off. These are just random questions.

Also, how do I post some fanart? I am not well acquainted with Tumblr.

what's the disability support of chronolog city?

Within the city, they excel at making prosthetics limbs. A non mechanical residence gets a prosthetic if they are born without a limb or lose a limb that can’t be reattach or replaced(usually due to nerve damage or old age)

The city has several floors with elevators scattered across the city. The elevators have audio cues announcing floors. They have decent public transport and a lot of benches. There is a lack of tactile surfaces in most places of the city.

The lower floors of the city (besides elevators) don’t have most of the support mentioned above.

Do Chronolog City residents need to eat diets high in minerals their exteriors are made of?

For instance, does Lenny need to eat a mountain of spinach daily to keep her iron skin healthy?

Or, do their bodies have almost alchemical functions that can convert one element to others?

I’m guessing the way their inanimate surfaces grow, heal, and in some cases bend is kept as a plot convenience (understandably), but I’m curious how far it goes.

Doesn’t matter what someone is made of. It is generally a good idea to have minerals in their diet, both for gut and skin.

Kids are often made to eat a lot of minerals (which often involves an incredible amount of greens) because at that stage they are still growing their outer skin and should strengthen it while they still can. Their bodies have an alchemical function tho kids are a lot better at doing that.

But residents can’t heal their outer skin naturally, they can only strengthen it somewhat with minerals. If a resident had their limb recently reattached they are often put on a diet of high mineral foods till they regain full function of that limb. Due to advancements in the medical field it doesn’t take that long anyway.

Dolly thought it was time for a haircut.

Jinx agreed.

Jinx offered her services.

Dolly accepted.

Now, Dolly has a helipad on her forehead and an axe to grind. Whether her sister is getting revenge for something she did, or is just incompetent, Dolly does not care. The only thing she cares about right now is where she can find a spray bottle, about half a litre of fox urine, and the key to Jinx's wardrobe.

Maybe she could swap Jinx's perfume for it...

... Clearly "Proportional response" is not a part of Dolly's vocabulary.

Well, look on the bright side: at least Jinx will gain some empathy for those unfortunate enough to have absorbent skin.

Locked in and managed to get this done in like 3-4 hours. I'm actually rather impressed with myself. I mean, I desperately need to go to bed, but still!

I think the expressions turned out rather well...

Anywho, here's the no-text version, if you'd like it.

Characters are @sir-needle's Jinx Lox and Dolly Lox.

They recently updated the designs for these two, and one of the changes made was giving Dolly straight bangs. While probably not canon, I like to imagine that the old designs are just their old styles 'cause it's fun. This is my interpretation of how that recent change came about under such a line of thinking.

Does Dolly hide in storm drains to scare children?

No it’s gross. Not worth the effort getting into one in the first place.

It’s also something she wouldn’t do to kids, maliciously at least.
