Agreed! But there are exceptions. You know the sorta peeps who draw art attacking minorities and cultures ‘n stuff? Those are bad arts! Don’t support the artists who make stuff like that. A prime example of a genuinely toxic artist is that one lady on here who once drew her character as a witch boiling trans peeps in a cauldron and when she got called out on it she tried to pass it off as a harmless joke. I forget her name but I trust that you know who I’m talking about. Artists like her are Bad News.

@naykayna, I just played with that prompt generator for the Daku x Rho ship, and

prompt 1: Rhodos is a vampire, and Dakuryon is a willing ‘victim’ for them. Rhodos is incredibly concerned about the welfare of Dakuryon, and always fusses over them after a feeding, making sure they’re still safe and comfortable. They often cuddle and fall asleep together after the feeding. If Rhodos is already a vampire, switch them. (wow, just rip my heart from my chest and stomp on it why don’t you?! I LOVE THIS)

prompt 2: Rhodos and Dakuryon are about to kiss when instead they accidentally hit foreheads really hard and have matching bruises. (I can defo see this one happening! They’re such dorks~~)

prompt 3: Rhodos screaming over a picture of Dakuryon from long before they met. Rhodos describes the younger Dakuryon as a tiny precious child, then looks at Dakuryon, and says 'Well, you’re still a tiny precious child’. (OMGGGG)

prompt 4:  Dakuryon: “Don’t worry, I’ve been arrested before. I’ll get us out of this.” (okay I’m impressed at how accurate this one is! Echoes of Aranea, anyone?)

prompt 5: Rhodos and Dakuryon go on a camping trip. Rhodos forgets to bring a sleeping bag, so they have to squeeze into Dakuryon’s sleeping bag with them. (let the awkwardness ensue! XD)

prompt 6: Rhodos and Dakuryon haven’t kissed yet. Each time Rhodos sees Dakuryon they think to themselves 'I’ve gotta do it this time’ but they keep being too shy to do anything. One day a friend asks Rhodos if Dakuryon has ever tried to kiss them and Rhodos just screams. (I told you these two were dorks! oml <3)

Amidst the plethora of things Sandra is very wrong about, her awful lie about @magus-imperator‘s friends having the same art style is the biggest one! My art consist of line art that I draw and color on Paint Tool SAI, and Picrews/dollmakers I like to use and heavily edit/draw over to look like my friends’ OCs. I don’t consider myself an artist, but I do my best with the tools I know how to utilize to make nice things for my friends! My work might not count as “real art” but at least I put in the effort with them. It doesn’t take a high IQ to understand this. I’m very offended that Sandra dares call me a cancer tumor for being friends with her enemy and I’m twice as offended that she has the nerve to spread lies about me and the other people she’s lied about! The people she lied about were never involved in her childish drama so she needs to shut her mouth.

Sandra is, by and large, a desperate fool and nothing more. A fool and a bully who will lie about anything to make her victims look bad…..

(I’d like to add my two cents to this by admitting that I don’t draw, I can’t draw nor do I ever plan to since my art is on the more literary side, but if I did make any attempts at drawing anything then it would be on the level of MS Paint stick figures! Caveman drawings! xD)

Me and textures...

There is one thing that I really can’t stand about the graphic aspect of Tera: the flatness of facial textures. There is no depth, they are simply flat! This thing irritates me, BHS gives wide space to special (generate-lag) effects but doesn’t care about textures that are also hideously grainy. 😨 Heck, even the first Unreal had better textures and I find it absurd that BHS actually uses half of the Unreal graphics engine. It would have been better to develop a native graphics engine like BDO, perhaps the graphical+fx ratio would have been even more balanced. Dunno. Anyway, I used Arash to do a little personal experiment: give depth to the face. The lighting inTera is even worse than Skyrim, if the character has his face turned to the light every detail disappears, if it is facing in the opposite direction they are better noticed. But still… meh! I suppose the graphic flaw lies in the normal/specular map, too sparkling as they should be more opaque. Apart the general mobs, both NPCs and characters, it seems that they have wax in their faces, there is always that horrible glossy effect that is unwatchable! What I wanted was to have the same “quality” of detail both in light and in shadow. So I simply “made up” Arash’s face darkening and lightening where necessary (the other small details are other tests, don’t mind about ‘em) and I must say I like the result. This is Arash when I made him and few levels later, I already modified his face a bit (same face used for my previous sorcerer), I just touched eye color, eyeshadow, brows and lips, removing the grainy effect on the skin (because I consider him still young enough to avoid wrinkles, lol).

To check better the new changes I made, I chose to take screens far away from sun (yey, vampire style! xD)

Oh well, finally some 3DFX! XD I also edited a bit his ears, the miserable detail they had was embarassing!

Personally I see a difference compared to the first screens! :O And even under the sun light is better.

Normally the details are accentuated with light, no matter if little or a lot, certainly they must not disappear completely unless it is pitch dark! Comparing three different angles, I think I succeeded in my test.

And I give myself a bonus! 🤗

I’ll have to do a test on Axia as well… if everything goes as I hope… oh my god, it means I’ll have to fix Derhian’s face too! 😅 That’s what happens when I’m bored! Okay, I’m done with ravings, scroll over, hahaha! 😆

This video is undeniable proof that Dakuryon just wants to live his life in peace but the Valkyon Federation won’t stop harassing him. Valkyon is a criminal organization run by Arborea’s equivalent of the Ku Klux Klan and nobody can change my mind. Source: all of the blatant discrimination against the Devans and Castanics, also known as RACISM, all the times that wars broke out anywhere that the Federation has made its presence … It is no coincidence. As for the war that broke out between the Khirians and the Archdevas? All of that was planned by Valkyon so they could take over. They planted the seeds of chaos between the ruling parties of that continent, so the leading power at that time, Dakuryon, would be taken down by the people he ruled over. Without Dakuryon in their way, Valkyon could take over and reap the land of its riches. Notice all of the bountiful riches to be had in Northern Arun. All of the lush vegetation, the valuable ores and resources … and the Baraka’s forbidden arcane knowledge as well as that of the Archdeva’s. Northern Arun was a land flowing with milk and honey, a land blessed with many riches and wealth of all forms, and Valkyon wanted all of it for themselves. They don’t give a damn how many innocent lives are lost in their insatiable lust for power. Think about it.
