TV Tropes, Final Fantasy XIV Edition: Magnai & Chanai.

It’s ya boi Genji coming at you with another round of OTP Tropes! This was humbly requested by @magnai-oroniru, for the wholesome Canon x OC ship that is Magnai Oronir and Chanai Malqir. Enjoy!

Act of True Love. These two will always go out of their way to protect each other without hesitation, no matter how grave the situation.

Anger Born of Worry. Magnai often does this when Chanai lands himself in dangerous situations, and vice versa.

Battle Couple. These two make quite the formidable team! With Magnai’s brutality and Chanai’s graceful steps across the battlefield, none dare oppose them and live to tell the tale.

Belly Dancer / Dance Battler. Played literally with Chanai, whose job is Dancer.

Brooding Boy, Gentle Girl. Chanai is the only one who can easily coax Magnai out of his moods.

Casual Kink. Self-explanatory.

Declaration of Love (Love Confession). Magnai does this for Chanai on the first day day they met. He eloquently pours his heart out to Chanai with the most heartfelt, emotionally empowered speech. Chanai reciprocates those feelings in kind, albeit in a more flustered yet equally as heartwarming manner.

Declaration of Protection. Both, once again. This trope is acted upon by Magnai during a kidnapping incident.

Eating The Eye Candy. Magnai towards Chanai.

Flirting Under Fire. This pair has no problem with doing this.

Gentle Giant. Magnai is this, for Chanai and their children.

Headbutt of Love. Pressing their foreheads together (as well as rubbing horns) is one of many ways these two express their love for each other.

Huge Guy, Tiny Girl. At 4'9", Chanai is smol baby; Magnai easily towers over him at a whopping 7'2"!

Level-Up at Intimacy 5. Self-explanatory.

Masculine/Feminine Gay Couple. Magnai is the dominant, Chanai the submissive.

Reincarnation Romance / Red String of Fate. According to the Xaela creation myth, this trope is played quite literally, with Magnai being the Sun and Chanai, the Moon.

Stripperific. 99% of Chanai’s wardrobe.

Sugar-And-Ice Personality. Magnai is always sweet on Chanai and their children while maintaining his otherwise arrogant demeanor towards everyone else.

The Big Damn Kiss. After years of searching for his nhaama, Magnai has finally found him in the form of Chanai, and it’s about damn time! Their first kiss is the biggest moment in their relationship due to this fact alone.

Warrior Prince. Magnai 100%!

TV Tropes, TERA Online Edition: Dakuryon & Fyregem.

Requested by @darkgod-dakuryon, who wanted me to outline some tropes for the most popular TERA ship. Enjoy!

All Girls Want Bad Boys: Fyregem wasn’t always evil, you know ;D

Amazon Chaser: Dakuryon/Nemato finds Fyregem’s ferocity in battle highly arousing.

Aroused By Their Voice: Self-explanatory.

Battle Couple: These two make quite the formidable team!

Bite of Affection: Dakuryon often expresses his affection for Fyregem in this manner.

Childhood Friend Romance: Fyregem has known Dakuryon back when he was still Nemato, during their late teens.

Declaration of Protection: One of the main reasons why Dakuryon stole Anae’s Blood shard in the first place.

Devoted to You: These two are fiercely loyal to each other, with Dakuryon being more intense in his devotion.

Eating the Eye Candy: Dakuryon does this unashamedly.

Family Man: Self-explanatory.

Flirting Under Fire: Come friendly sparring matches or actual wars to protect their home, nothing can stop these two from doing this.

Happily Married: Self-explanatory.

Hot Consort: Fyregem.

Huge Guy, Tiny Girl: Dakuryon easily towers over Fyregem, even more so when he’s on his blood magick steroids.

In Love With Your Carnage: One of the things that attracted Nemato to Fyregem initially. Likewise, Fyregem is rather supportive of her husband’s murderous tendencies.

Intimate Healing: Fyregem does this with her blood magick.

Level-Up At Intimacy 5: Figuratively AND literally!

Manic Pixie Dream Girl: Fyregem for Nemato.

Merlin and Nimue: With Dakuryon being more experienced

Unholy Matrimony: Self-explanatory.

Violently Protective Girlfriend: While not as intense as Dakuryon, Fyregem can and WILL kill anyone who dares to harm her husband.

Yandere: There’s nothing Dakuryon wouldn’t do for Fyregem, including murder.

Ok, little artists out there, I take the freedom of giving some little advices after a person asked for my “artistic” opinion (@goddessfyregem). Assuming that I dont consider myself as talented as many others (how to kill my self-esteem) and that I’m still ignorant about many things, I can say: 1. create an account on Pinterest/DeviantArt and save every image that can inspire you or give you a source to practice (tutorials, references, photos, etc.).* 2. If you don’t want to make an account then create a folder on your PC and download all material you might need, if possible categorize it to find it easily.* 3. Follow a few speedpaints on YT, maybe about works that match your style. 4. PRACTICE, no matter whether it’s a doodle or the new Monnalisa, practice, particularly on those details that are more difficult to master. Can’t you do it? Ok, leave off to dedicate yourself to something else, in any case, don’t give up. You don’t have to force yourself, doing things unwillingly or without the right spirit is wrong. 5. Accept criticism about your work. Obviously I refer to those that can make you notice small errors to correct and improve in the future. The criticisms that offend your art deserve only your warmest indifference (and maybe a nice “fk u” to the haters who don’t understand anything). Art, in every form, is a tortuous, difficult path that could often break you down. Don’t give up just because they tell you that you can’t draw, if you like something, do it! I know this road very well, I have been drawing since I learned to hold the pencil in my hand but in life they have always prevented me from realizing my dreams, to improve as I wanted and it’s a horrible thing, it’s like depriving an individual of a essential freedom. No one, however, must take away this freedom, so arm yourself with sheets, pens, pencils, graphic tablets and whatever your instrument is because it is your sacred right! Amen! * About references: some authors ask to be recognized. Your work improves also thanks to them (and the time they put on tutorials ‘n stuff) so it is right to credit them.

Amidst the plethora of things Sandra is very wrong about, her awful lie about @magus-imperator‘s friends having the same art style is the biggest one! My art consist of line art that I draw and color on Paint Tool SAI, and Picrews/dollmakers I like to use and heavily edit/draw over to look like my friends’ OCs. I don’t consider myself an artist, but I do my best with the tools I know how to utilize to make nice things for my friends! My work might not count as “real art” but at least I put in the effort with them. It doesn’t take a high IQ to understand this. I’m very offended that Sandra dares call me a cancer tumor for being friends with her enemy and I’m twice as offended that she has the nerve to spread lies about me and the other people she’s lied about! The people she lied about were never involved in her childish drama so she needs to shut her mouth.

Sandra is, by and large, a desperate fool and nothing more. A fool and a bully who will lie about anything to make her victims look bad…..

(I’d like to add my two cents to this by admitting that I don’t draw, I can’t draw nor do I ever plan to since my art is on the more literary side, but if I did make any attempts at drawing anything then it would be on the level of MS Paint stick figures! Caveman drawings! xD)

Whenever I see people saying that making models as well as the poses is easy, I’m always tempted to point them towards THIS.

Do you know what this is? It’s the Dakuryon model in all of his rigged skeleton glory! Does this look easy to you? Because it isn’t. It’s sheer and utter chaos! Now bask in this beautiful Hell, and notice how things like his hands have individual parts you need to manipulate. What’s even better is that you gotta manipulate all of the parts! Like with any other art form, rigging each individual bone of a model to get the desired result is a Helluva lot of work! If you think it’s easy then I commend you for your naiveté, because even the slightest screw up with the sliders results in nightmare fuel due to how sensitive it is X’D

Seeing this bolsters the respect I already have for animators like you. Many people don’t understand that animation in all it forms is a true art like you’ve stated; animation is just as valid as anything created by a paintbrush, and I’m glad you made this video because it’s an eye opener for anyone who doesn’t understand the amount of time and effort required to animate
