Summary:
Suki has a silly suprise for Ty lee and gets one in return.
Snow falls softly around, quickly building up, the training grounds are going to be buried tomorrow. Suki sighed she will be training the new girls inside tomorrow after they dig the town out. As she crested the hill she could see the smoke coming from the rooftop, some one beat her back and already started a fire.
As pink clad figure swept the snow off their porch to prevent it from building up and being a problem for Suki later. Her fire nationals hated the cold, Ty Lee even more so, but they all hated shoveling even more. Three winters now on the island and Ty Lee even looked the part of a citizen of Kyoshi island, in her long pink overcoat and many other layers below.
Suki smiled at the memory of fumbling an excuse to hand over the bundle of fabric, stained with her blood and sweat. She had made it herself with some of the unwanted bribes sent by the firelord for taking his sister in. A sticky sweet smile spread across her cheeks to see the woman wrapped and warm finally.
One short hop onto the porch later, Suki is crowded into Ty Lee's space closes enough to see the last speckles of summer still on her cheeks dust pink.
"Hello beautiful, you got a map? Cause I'm getting lost in those eyes."
From here she can see storm clouds soften, so much better than losing the feeling in her arms… again. The former Fire national burst out in giggles and playfully pushes at suki's shoulder, it stays there her thumbs rubbing along the seam of her collar.
"Stoooop you goof." Her face grows as pink as her shirt, a smile a bright as the sun. Soft looking lips, she could just lean in a little further. Break the tension that's been building for months now.
But instead she drops her voice low for just Ty Lee to hear. "Though. I could make a detour to your lips." She punctuated with a wink.
She waits to be rebuffed again like always happens whe she flirts. Laughed off as a joke as if they both don't know whats happening. Instead. The hand one her shoulder finds her neck and the other tugs her by the collar. The joke being the final tipping point their lips crashing together.
The captain freezes in place.
This is nothing like what she is used to quick kisses from ever chapped lips. Rushed. Hurried. Like there is never enough time to enjoy them. Which in all fairness there never is.
No, Ty Lee's lips are soft. Her fingers weave into her hair. A tug drags a sound out of the back of suki's throat.
And then it stops all too soon, Ty Lee retreats. "I'm sorry I shouldn't have-"
Suki hands on her waist pull her back in recapturing her bottom lip and connecting them again. Suki has waited and wanted this for so long she can't let it go quiet yet.
When they finally pull apart. Foreheads touching, giggling in the shared breath.
"So. That was quite the trip."
"Agni, your terrible." Ty punches her a little harder this time but she is still smiling brilliantly. "I'm going inside where its not freezing. Join me?"

I think it’s been almost a month since I posted any drawings or doodles; well, here’s one.
I’ve been busy with work; I’m in a three-month trial period; if everything goes well, I’ll stay, and if not, goodbye. This Thursday I’ll find out if I’m staying or getting fired; I’m anxious about it and haven’t posted anything.
