"Feldspar was the first Hearthian to be intentionally launched into space." (2022) Ooooh this is a good one. This is that one comic Alex Beachum considers his personal headcanon! This is the first appearance of what will become a regular appearance in my OW art: young Founders. I will probably explain more in another post, but I got really interested in the founders' personalities when they were younger. I like to imagine that Esker was the cool, older kid of the band, Hornfels was the youngest and always anxious about what was going on, Slate was constantly following Feldspar's ideas, Gossan didn't like those ideas but never tried that hard to stop them. And Felds... well Felds wanted to explore space. I will probably expand on my headcanon in another post, like I said :) I'm trying my very best to not focus on the parts that didn't age well. Boy I can't redraw a full 9 pages comic ;w;
