This is an experimental blog for a story I am writing ๐ซก This is the rough timeline of said story. I'm posting and pinning to make this easier for me. The main character and Simon meet and fall for each other quickly, but after a week, they are extremely long distanced. They try to make it work for a while but end up breaking the romantic part off and staying "friends." After over 2 years of knowing each other, their contact is cut off on accident. Due to the nature of Simon's job, they only had one way to contact each other and kept basic information private. They are out of contact for about 3 years and 3 months. Both of them were heartbroken at the loss of contact as they both had fallen in love despite them just being friends. They don't cope well at first. For different reasons, they are angry and destroyed. As all things, time heals some things. They find ways to cope. For the main character, making this blog helps. Despite time, they never stop loving each other. Maybe they tried at first, but over time, it settled in them that they were the loves of each others lives, and they were lucky to have had them for the time they did. They wanted no one else but them, and that was ok with them. They found meaning in other aspects of their lives. Passion for their friendships and hobbies and aspects of their work. They lived the best life they knew the other would want for them. They were as happy as can be... considering. Considering the hole in their heart that was shaped like the other.
Until one day in Dublin, Ireland, far from the place they met and either expected the other to be, they were walking through a crowded square, and their shoulders just so happened to collide...
