Problems are either dragged forever or quickly resolved (sometimes both), depending on how fast they want to advance the plot and how much drama they want to create.

Character presumed dead comes back unexpectedly to fuck shit up

Realism? What’s that?

Very little involvement of the authorities, unless it serves the plot. So some characters get away with a lot of shit with very few consecuences.

Why did this happen? For the DRAMA

Fights! Bitch-slaps! Betrayals!

Every character can be redeemed except the villain.

Characters who dramatically switch sides half-way through.

Love triangles

Ridiculous plot that is taken more or less serious in-universe.

Character comes back with a make-over

Cobra Kai has become the old-school telenovela we deserve.

It’s been four days since the release of season 3 of Cobra Kai and I still haven’t watched it. I blame my brother for introducing my girlfriend and I to The Untamed. We went into full obsession mode and, long story short, we pretty much watched nothing else until we finished it today.

The good news are that now that we are free, and since we are both officially on holiday, we are going to binge the whole season now, because who needs sleep. I suspect I’ll have something to say once we finish.
