She smiles, taking his hand and giving it a firm shake. Just because she’s a beauty it doesn’t mean she’s a delicate beauty. “A pleasure to meet you too, Daniel. I’m Juliette Cartier.” She pulls back her hand before too long, still smiling warmly before she turns back to the display. “I take it you’re not really from round these parts. You mind if I ask where you’re visiting from?” She arches a brow at him as she sniffs a lovely rose scented soap.

Stacey browsed around keeping close to Danny so she could transfer his words to Juliette. Danny smiled nervously as he rubbed his neck, “Well I really do stick out like a sore thumb here.” Daniel looked out the window to the sandstorm before he answered, “I’m from Lochesh. Senka city to be exact. I came to see a friend and when I was returning home the sandstorm began.” Daniel felt as if he was speaking too much. He was still nervous being around her but it was slowly going away.

Stacey looked at some shoelaces hanging from a rack and grabbed some over sized ones tying them into bows, <”Danny is so cute when he’s nervous.”> she said to herself playing.

"A good as reason as any to duck into a store." She smells another soap, before putting it back and slowly walking to the other side of the display. "I can't say I've ever been to Lochesh...never left TA neither," a sad sort of smile, before she pulls it up by its bootstraps. "Not that I don't have plans to. It's just taking a little longer to get there than I thought it would." And honestly? He's speaking just enough. Heck, he could stand to speak a little more or Juliette would run right over him.

How could she say no after all the miscommunication? Well, and after obviously making him feel uncomfortable….not that she would have said no even before the whole mess. She smiles, “Sure. And that’s fine. We’ll get you acquainted with the better places to eat round here. There’s a decent steakhouse just down main street a couple blocks. I’m assuming you’re not a vegetarian ~” She risks teasing. It isn’t as if the place doesn’t have other food too, like salads. But still, what’s the point of going to a steakhouse if you’re going to have salad?

Daniel finally gives a genuine smile with some backbone, “No I’m not a vegetarian and a steak house sounds just fine.” Daniel felt no harm in taking out this women for dinner; it would be nice to have dinner with someone for a change. Daniel extended his hand to Juliette, “Again my name is Daniel Toff and it’s a pleasure to meet you..” Daniel stopped realizing she had never given her name. “Oh I guess I don’t know your name yet.” Daniel smiled again.

As the Pokemon rambles, Juliette feels a blush creep up her neck to her cheeks from embarrassment. She’d been teasing. In all honesty, he’s cute even if his Pokemon was a little mouthy. And she definitely hand’t meant to make him feel awkward or upset. “Listen,” she says softly with a smile, interrupting the Pokemon. She looks at Danny, talking to him. “All you would have had to say was ‘Hi, my name’s Danny, and I was wondering if you’d like to maybe grab some dinner once this storm ends.’ I would have said yes. Heck, I’ll say yes now so long as it’s you doing the asking and not your mon.” she gives them both a sweet, but tentative smile.

Daniel was reaching for Stacey as she pushed him away his face slightly twisted. When Juliette began to speak again Daniel turned to her and as she spoke his face began to go red. Stacey and Daniel stood there for a second frozen. He could hardly believe what he just heard. Stacey smiled feeling she had won. Stacey slapped Danny softly and signaled to him, <”Come on Danny.”> Danny turned around to Juliette and was shoved a little closer. Danny could see the slight blush on her face and it only made him blush even more. Stacey remained quiet this time watching Danny make his move. Daniel didn’t say anything right away he couldn’t think of anything but he took a deep breath how could he let this slip by she practically already agreed, “Well..Would you like to have dinner after this storm clears? But I you will have to pick someplace because I am not well with places to dine at here in Terran Alto.” Daniel still beyond nervous and rubbing the back of his neck. He still couldn’t believe any of this.

Telepathic path huh? Well, the mon could have asked…but since it’s only one way- she takes a deep breath, calming down. And then he keeps talking and she has to smile at him again. “It’s alright. Really. You didn’t interrupt anything. Besides,” she adjusts something on a shelf, “I’m sure you’re not the first to destroy a display~ Happens to the best of us.” She’s teasing, hoping to put him at ease. She almost says something as silly about leaving so he won’t be distracted and no other displays will suffer the same fate. But she doesn’t  She doesn’t want the man to die of embarrassment.

Daniel moved his hand to the back of his neck and rubbed it his nervous smile across his face, “Thank you for being understanding.” Daniel didn’t want to admit it was because of her good looks that caused him to goof. Stacey floated close by and nudged Daniel nodding to Juliette. Daniel gave her a serious look and took her into his hands, ‘What are you crazy! Look at her I don’t stand a chance in a thousand years!!’ Stacey broke the hold and gave him a sassy look. Daniel’s eyes widen as Stacey started to glow. <”Hey beautiful you look like you can use a treat I just happen to have something just for you.”> Stacey imitated Daniel’s voice sending a message to Juliette. She giggled and then continued, <”The name’s Daniel Toff but you can call me Danny sweet thing.”> Stacey used her abilities to move Danny in her direction. His face not matching any of his movements or tone in voice. ‘Oh why me. Just shoot me.’ Stacey giggled behind Danny.

Daniel practically shattered at the comment laying there frozen. Stacey finally making her appearance known to Daniel simply giggled and bounced around. Daniel now knew how she heard his thoughts and sighed his bright blush still all over his face. Stacey began to glow again, “I am terribly sorry. I didn’t know my Reuniclus had open a telepathic path.” Daniels lips didn’t move as he finally fixed the display of its soaps and other items. Daniel still incredibly nervous about this lovely stranger turns to her and bows several times. “I’m terribly sorry for interrupting your shopping experience with my clumsiness. You are indeed a beautiful woman and…” Daniel couldn’t find anymore words he felt trapped again. Stacey behind him simply giggled and admired Juliette from behind Danny.

Daniel stared into the woman’s green eyes.((I don’t know I only guessed that they were green I’m sorry if I was wrong.)) Daniel reached for it as she handed him the soap. When Daniel heard her voice he felt a chill go down his spine. It was rare for Daniel to speak to women and even more uncommon to speak to beautiful women. Daniel dropped the soap again and quickly picked it up with his blush and nervous smile. He felt bad he couldn’t respond again he felt trapped. Stacey finally came by and floated next to Daniel. She spied at the pair and saw Daniel with his flushed face and nervous smile. Stacey giggled in joy and tapped his shoulder to begin transferring his thoughts with a slight pink glow. Little to Daniel he wasn’t quite ready to start. Like an echo in someone’s head the sound of his head became clear, “Danny you’re making a fool of yourself in front of this gorgeous woman. Stop being a moron.” Daniel still unaware of Stacey’s presence and her link of thoughts from his to Juliette’s.

((You are correct. They are green. XD)) She'd been confused as he'd fumbled with the soap, but she'd assumed he was just shy. Well, that was until she got another voice in her head. It isn't as if this is the first time she's talked with psychic pokemon, but this is different. This isn't psychic pokemon. This is a guy dropping in on her mind without even so much as a knock, or a hey hello. Adjusting to that isn't easy as she processes what she's just heard. And despite the invasion of privacy- which she may or may not harp on later- she smiles. Well, she'll just give him a surprise in return. "You're not being a moron. And I'm not that gorgeous. But thank you for the compliment~"
