“Bres isn’t exactly strong in any case.” After all that was a low level, initial, persona. Ra could likely brute force the gremlin into submission… or maybe hit a weakness?

“I don’t care about scaring you away. I just want the respect I deserve.” He narrows his eyes. “Perhaps a Hamaon will set you straight.” He snaps his fingers and a beam of light flashes, the only warning for the magic attack before it hits the man.

Reiji let out a pained gasp as he fell to his knees. Looked like he was out of words and out of conciousness, as he fell forward, completely unconcious. He’d probably wake up fine in a while, but ouch...

Best he could hope for was no Amen Ra around when he woke up.

“Worse? My special ability helped crush that false god.” He holds out his hand and makes a crushing gesture with his fist. “I could do far more and would, if not for the fact you’re my other self’s companion.”

His eyes continued to glow a dangerous yellow, a reminder that a persona could just as easily be a shadow.

“Last I checked, Bres isn’t exactly weak to that special ability.” And seeing as that was the Persona he was currently toting around... He wasn’t scared, not even one bit.

“If you’re trying to scare me into running away or something, it ain’t gonna work.”

“What was that?” The god covers the distance between them swiftly and puts a hand on the man’s shoulder.

“Care to repeat that?” He hisses, yellow eyes glowing intensely as the hand on the man’s shoulder begins to heat up to a degree that would hurt. Searing through the clothing on his shoulder.

Reiji grimaced, but it didn’t seem like it was about to deter him. He wasn’t about to put up with this, even if this was one of his best friend’s Persona.

“I said fuck you. A little fucking burn doesn’t mean shit. Kandori could do worse than you.” Well shit, someone wasn’t gonna back down again easily... In fact, he shrugged the hand off his shoulder, holding back a hiss of pain.

Ah, yes. Fear. That’s what he wanted to get out of the guy. He let out and amused cackle before calming back down. “Right, right.. your oven.. heh.” he continued to stifle laughter. That’ll teach him to respect a god!

Oops, Amen Ra made a mistake cackling like that! That sorta bruised Reiji’s sense of pride, so he turned back to face him and, with a stiff customer service smile on his face said one thing.

“Fuck you.”

“Badly, I’m sure. He, and I by extension, care deeply about our friends. But nothing says I can’t torch things and keep you safe while you watch.” He gives a rather sinister grin. Was he kidding? Serious? Who knows.

“Well, I can’t very well walk around in the form of a mummy or a giant flaming bird while I’m trying to explore, now can I? Personas are interested in things outside of battle, you know.”

Well... Well Jesus Christ. Now Reiji just wanted to get away from Amen Ra, this was fucking terrifying.

“I’ll leave you to your explorations, then. I... uh, left the oven on, I think, so I need to go.” That lie should work, right? Personas wouldn’t be that savvy to lying.

“Perhaps you should care. I could set fire to everything, you know.” He crosses his arms and frowns, clearly not amused. “This is something any persona could do. It’s just not really practical for battle.”

“Uh huh... and if you set me or anything that could be used to hurt me on fire, how would Naoya react?” He knew his friend likely wouldn’t be happy. “...That so? Well, you learn something every day... What’s the point in doing it, then?”
