i binged the entirety of svtfoe over my reading break, finished the last episode, went on tumblr to see what ppl were saying abt it and everyone hates starco for some reason?? im in enemy territory lol

finally got around to watching whatever's out of season 6 of miraculous ladybug and y'all. why is it kinda bad??

seasons 3-5 were so peak!! good plot, good character stuff, some fumbles here and there but generally very enjoyable. comparatively, season 6 feels kind of empty to me? mr. agreste was a pretty solid episode, but other than that i'm kinda disappointed.

i don't super mind the new animation - if i'm looking at marinette. WHAT did they do to adrien?? why did they lobotomize him?? #notmyadrien, y'all.

also i'm really not that into the hero team thing. my fav thing abt the early seasons was the partner dynamic between ladybug and chat noir and its lowkey nonexistent now, and every akuma fight lasts like half a second for some reason. adrienette is cute, but idk i just feel like something's missing.

also also why don't they ever show chat noir's transformation sequence? every side character got one, ladybug didn't get one till several episodes in, and chat noir just never got one at all. justice for my boy, y'all.

also also also, Why do the episodes air out of order?

my true gripe with being a music student is that yknow how when a singer-songwriter on tiktok or ig reels or whatnot posts a clip of an unreleased song? and it's like sooo good like u wanna get the damn thing tattooed on ur forehead or something except its not out anywhere but at least you can watch the clip over and over again. well that's what being in music school is like except instead of a clip you can rewatch, that super cool song you heard was performed at like a showcase or a mini-recital and there is No existing record of it so now you live with it stuck in ur head and there is Nothing you can do oh my god
