You have to decide what your highest priorities are and have the courage—pleasantly, smilingly, non-apologetically, to say “no” to other things. And the way you do that is by having a bigger “yes” burning inside. The enemy of the “best” is often the “good.
Stephen Covey (via droemmelig)
me: *sees a rock*
me on the inside: take it take it take it take it
me: haha, foolish me, it is a dirty rock
me on the inside: TAKE IT TAKE IT TAKE IT TAKE IT
Life changes fast. Life changes in the instant. You sit down to dinner and life as you know it ends.
OMG, I just found out that IKEA now has vegan meatballs. What a time to be alive!

source/proof
The meatballs are vegan, but this meal is labeled as vegetarian so idk about the sauce. The chickpea curry also looks great.

NASA: The U.S. is headed for a disaster not seen in 1,000 years
A new study, compiled by scientists from the space agency, Cornell University and Columbia University, predicts an 80% chance that the Great Plains and the American Southwest will endure a major weather shift beginning in 2050.
"We really need to start thinking in longer-term horizons about how we’re going to manage it."
But we’ll see some strong sustainability policies put into place to help mitigate this huge catastrophe… any day now….
(basically I’m back)
My life has changed so much in the past half year, I don’t know where to begin. My head is spinning, but I’ve finally found that place of calm I was looking for. I know what I need to do. It just feels weird to start reblogging stuff after being away from tumblr for so long.

"Are you ticklish" is such a loaded question. If you say no they’ll test it. If you say yes they’ll test it. Just tickle me. Get it over with. Subject me to this horror soon so that I may begin my healing process.
"I have diarrhea," is a really effective way out though.
River || Joni Mitchell
It’s coming on Christmas. They’re cutting down trees, they’re putting up reindeer, and singing songs of joy and peace. Oh I wish I had a river I could skate away on. But it don’t snow here, it stays pretty green.
I'm so angry that I cut my hair (and ended up giving myself a mullet).
