It is snowing on this special day that I’m coming home. After a December in a place where the grass is still quite green, it’s nice to come back to where the world makes sense.

Picked a feat for my paladin: Sentinel

You have mastered techniques to take advantage of every drop in any enemy's guard, gaining the following benefits.

When you hit a creature with an opportunity attack, the creature's speed becomes 0 for the rest of the turn.

Creatures provoke opportunity attacks from you even if they take the Disengage action before leaving your reach.

When a creature makes an attack against a target other than you (and that target doesn't have this feat), you can use your reaction to make a melee weapon attack against the attacking creature.

Jedidiah is a paladin who has taken the Oath of Devotion and seeks justice for the oppressed. This role of a protector suits him. He also fights with a glaive, a weapon that has reach, so his abilities with this feat are greatly heightened.

Jedidiah Sunforge is a paladin under the Oath of Devotion, and a Sentinel as well. He has had a noble upbringing, and all members of his immediate family have also trained to be righteous warriors. This causes him to be a little bit self important, but he firmly believes that he has a duty to protect those who cannot protect themselves.

As an elf of 200 years, he has had much time to study languages. He currently knows elvish, common, draconic, and orkish. He also carries a dragon-chess set, which is a gift (and a bit of a jest) from his older brother who is also a paladin. (As a child he would quickly become frustrated when his brother won their chess games. Now, as an adult, he is no master, but he certainly exhibits a touch more patience and understanding for the game.) He also likes music and has a dulcimer at home that he was unable to bring along for the journey. Truthfully, he is a bit of a nerd at heart, but he will become a little flustered and defensive if you bring it up.

This journey is a pilgrimage to find himself and prove himself worthy. He saw in a vision that he was meant to join this party and help them complete their quest and believes that they would not be able to accomplish what they set out to do without him. Upon completion, he will return home to bring honor to his family and then set out on the next great adventure that the order of paladins has in store for him.

Been into xianxia and wuxia recently, especially in light of my WIP and OC Amy Zhang. When inspiration strikes it strikes! So here’s another OC(unrelated): Lan Jing, courtesy name Lanwang.

You guys have no idea how long it took me to get the proportions for this pose. And in the end, it was all covered by a huge skirt. Also, sleeves! Why is it so hard to do the large sleeve aesthetic?? I really want to ink this with full color… but I am also really apprehensive about ruining it…
