Happy birthday, Kusuo Saiki! I know we don’t talk much, and our longest interaction to date involved me kidnapping you for associating with Teruhashi (sorry about that again, by the way). However, I still wanted to wish you a happy birthday! So… happy birthday! I hope you don’t mind that I knew your birthday was today prior to your post about it; about a year ago, when I was footstooling and Kuriko was a part of my clientele, your father showed up to ask her for a loan. When she refused, he struck up a conversation with me about how footstooling was hard work and he admired my work ethic, he mentioned that your birthday was coming up at some point, I asked for the date, and he told me. I don’t have access to your birth certificate; I know I’ve made a few other people aware of my access to their birth certificates and am slowly going through the list because I realized most people don’t expect for others to find their birth certicifacres. However, you are not one of those people; I managed to discover your birthday in a different way, and- not to be rude, but we really don’t talk enough for me to care much about having access to details like your birth weight, height, and hospital. If you’d like me to access your birth certificate, feel free to let me know! Also, if you’d like me to get you a gift or something, feel free to do the same! I know you posted about hoping for a nice and quiet birthday, so this ask is probably contrary to what you’d like. My bad.

there was a whole case of coffee jelly from my favorite place on my doorstep from my sister... good birthday so far. i better prepare for my friends to come over though.

I tried out that coffee jelly recipe I found, I hope you'll enjoy it! Surprises don't tend to work on you, so I'm fine with telling you that portion. Yes, portion, I have another gift to give you, but you don't get to know what it is until you open it! I saved up to get a germanium box to pack it in, specially for you! I hope you'll like it, I thought of you the moment I saw it!

It's nothing, really! I had to get some help from Toritsuka-kun and Aiura-kun at the last minute, but they seemed totally on board when I explained the plan! Consider this my apology for all the birthdays I missed while you were away! Honestly, I did have to do this! Even if it hardly equates to the amount of gratitude I have for you, I believe it's a great start to showing it! Next year, I plan to do something even bigger, so make sure to stick around for then!
