iskandar has a thing for cats. he finds kitties really adorable and is unable to resist picking up any stray cat he comes to cross paths with. this ended up with him having to let his fellow family members adopt the stray cats he had saved from the sandy streets of cairo.

his parents had expected him to be sorted into gryffindor due to his courageous nature and readiness to do anything. living in cairo sure did help foster his desire to explore. though the sorting hat did momentarily wonder whether to put him into slytherin due to his manipulative nature. in the end, gryffindor won him over. iskandar comes from a family full of slytherins therefore him being sorted into gryffindor was a slight surprise. it broke the centuries worth of slytherin pride but his family honestly could not see him in slytherin hence the submissive reaction to his sorting. hyeri and naeun are some of the slytherin cousins he gets along with.
