So that trailer huh? (yes, I know I'm late to the party)
I haven't made many seamless patterns so far and this is the first time I actually put in effort to learn how to make one properly and drew detailed elements for it (instead of just letting a doodle tile) but I can't hide I'm very proud of it. I'm seriously considering printing it on some fabric to sew with. Aside from the little blue and purple "filler" flowers all elements are based on pictures of real plants and insects I found online. I shared them individually in two previous posts.
I titled the pattern "impossible meadow". Why is it impossible if it's based on real plants and animals?
1. It's heavily stylised. I didn't use the colour black or brown. I like to make my art very vibrant and to some degree simplified, perhaps tapping into the nostalgia of how the world seemed when I was a kid.
2. These species don't really coexist in one place. They're from different regions, they have different needs. A few of the plants actually live in water and not on meadows.
3. The most important part: the drawing is based on endangered species, most of them extinct in the wild, at least here in Poland. This meadow is almost as impossible as it would be if I made these creatures up. But they're not made up. They were real, they made the world more beautiful and we killed them.
I will share the pattern as an asset on clip studio paint if anyone's interested in using it.

Sparxie as KAngel, just really enjoying streaming 😂 (Mental darkness 90%+) It's just a dumb idea, but I think they have a lot in common (looks aside)
I really like it when watercolor looks like watercolour. I have a tendency of over polishing it until all the textures are gone and it looks like it might as well be acrylic paint, but this time I decided to just play with it, let the water flow freely and then let shapes emerge from random splatters. I was also testing out my new Kuretake paints here and they did a great job :D
