Rant: Genshin the Toxic Ex

I started playing this game since Klee's second banner (Version 1.6) due to my curiosity when my ex boyfriend rarely played Valorant with me because he wants to catch up with limited events in Genshin. So I decided to play the game and didn't expect to go down the void and can never come out of it.
Honestly what got me hooked to Genshin Impact was the storyline itself, the graphics and the characters. As a lover of various literature, Genshin's storyline is one of a kind and most of the time, unlike Wattpad stories you cannot easily predict the whole storyline especially the ending.
I mean of course sometimes the storyline disappoints when Traveler doesnt showcase their powers that much or it ends up with the power of friendship thing even if said enemy is basically a force of nature but what disappointed me the most is the greed of Hoyoverse.
Let's be honest, gacha games are basically almost equal to gambling sites but instead of aiming for more money, you aim to get the character or weapon that you want that satisfies your gamer or nerdy self. Genshin is definitely one of those games. The satisfaction when you get that character or weapon and how happy you are that your hardwork in collecting primogems paid off.
Hoyoverse games were never free to play friendly. I mean it was for a few nations but then Nodkrai came with these lunar reactions and how in each nation the difficulty seems to increase with the new enemies (Fontaine to curren) that it makes it hard for inconsistent players to catch up. I mean I made 10 genshin accounts just to finally get one account that has godlike, Aventurine level gacha luck. How did I know it was lucky? My first ten pull was Jean and my second ten pull was Yoimiya. Then a lot of 50/50 wins came after even if I was a busy in real life genshin player.
I really love Genshin, I still do. I stil follow the storyline and characters but honestly the primogem and reward system is atrocious that is gives players burnout. The saving grace of Hoyoverse are basically the simps and the whales. I will still follow Genshin but man wdym we have to farm Genshin like its a 10 hour job just to get 20 pulls. LMAO.
