Did you noticed the new Matter (?) prototype?! https://www.facebook.com/powersliderace/ The wheels seem have the spokes and the hub diameter is similar to the Junk wheels (https://www.facebook.com/junkskatewheels/) Powerslide/Matter is always a source of interesting innovations :D P.S.: congrats Peter Michael! https://www.instagram.com/petermichael42/
Did you know that Italian Inline Speed Skating Road Championship 2016 is live now?!

More wheels, more fun! Finally the new line of Matter wheels for 125mm inline speed skating :)
How much training for 125mm?
This is my question after speaking with some skating resellers last week. They told that the new wheels are fast, but very hard to push and you need to be very well trained to be really safe on them. The first reviews says that on 125mm wheels you risk to fall when you are tired more than on 110mm, due to the higher speed and the height of frame.
After my early enthusiasm, honestly I’m a bit worried about this aspect, in particular related to the fitness/casual skaters. Also considering the cost of frame + wheels without a weekly/monthly test period.
What are your thoughts about it? Is this just the fear of unknown?
125mm
So, after 1 year spent promoting 125mm wheels, they arrived officially allowed by FIRS in marathons for elite speedskaters (mention needed for #powerslide as unique promoter). I had a sort of deja-vù of the 110mm approval where the same approach was used. Be prepared for a 2016 @ 125mm!
In my opinion there are 2 many points that no one discussed: 1. Design: do you really like the skate with 3 wheels only?! Really?! 2. 165mm mounting: yep, the usual length has back and my old Cavalli custom boots can back too! Thanks! And all the guys from ice can swipe up from 100mm to new technologies without a waste of money.
Anyway, with aluminum wheel’s core and other stuff this could be a real next big thing. I really want to try them, their stability, weight and agility.

I'm sorry guys, I moved to a new house during the last days and I started my first internship after the university. So, I didn't fully follow the last updates of inline world championships 2012.

I'm coming back ASAP! I'm on house hunting right now. I hope to be fully operative for Worlds.
