A Big Bang is where a writer writes a piece of fanfiction at least 15,000 words long. Once they have done artist will be assigned a fic from their top three, and shall do at least one piece of art for it.

Under 25 days until sign-ups open. Until then, why don’t you reread last year’s BigBang entries.
We want to open SKBigBang to new languages, but unfortunately we only know English and Spanish. Luckily last year we got it translated into Portuguese, and now we want more!
We have had requests for French, so if you are any good at translating that, please have a go! Attempt it with a group of friends if you aren’t brilliant at translating.
Also there has been some changes to the English, so if the Spanish and Portuguese could be translated to match, that’d be brilliant.
We are still looking for translators to open this event up to more people! We do now have a French translator.
We are still looking for someone to fill in some gaps in the Portuguese section, due to changes which have taken place. (It is the blue writing within the green which has been changed for ease of translating)

I’ve got a draft for an english one and I started writing the other one! I’ll finish translating the rules in french in a few days, just need to get the exams done first

Has anyone started to plan/write their SKBigBang 2015 story yet?
I know it doesn’t officially start until July, but I started planning, and I’m getting excited.
punkrockftw answered: I will! Hopefully my author will send his/her work this time :D
We’ll be putting in extra precautions to ensure every artist gets given work to make art for.

Well as our first SKBigBang, I don't think it went awfully. It has been a bit of a steep learning curve and there are a few things I plan to change for next year (because there will be a next year):
Only authors who have finished their first drafts may submit their story summaries, and take part.
Half way between the pairing and posting, make sure every artist has received a copy of the fic they are due to make art for.
