The Knight (Again)
Sorry this is yet anoootheeerrrr knight post, I know in my Flowery Rudy analysis I pretty much said Rudyās gotta be the knight, but somethingās been bothering me a whole lot. The fact that Asgore already knows about the knight. Where else would he have seen or heard of it before? He mustāve seen them in person. Thereās absolutely no way Carol or even Rudy would clue him in if theyāre involved. Maybe they know itās his son, and theyād lose power over him if he found out. (Yes Rudy seems like a chill friendly guy, but mark my words, that man has laaayerrss donkey)
So, Asgore WITNESSED what happened with Dess, in āa dark world, a long time agoā. Asgore has also kept a shard from this encounter. So its safe to assume the knight was involved. But if Dess, or Carol or Rudy is the knight, how does that make sense? It doesnāt. Unless itās Asriel.
Now listen I know it would just be rehashing the same thing from Undertale if Asriel was yet again an antagonist, but I donāt think heās the āultimate badā of Deltarune, so thereās got to be something else going on (ahemcoughGaster).
So yes well before ch5 was released, I did watch Spookydoodās Asriel knight theory. He pointed out a lot of things that make sense, the knight curling into a ball like his secret fav lizard character, āa crying boyā ect, I thought wow neat, but Iām still team Dess or Rudy.
But yeah after ch5ā¦Iāve gotten personally attached to this theory it seems like it might be the only thing possible. Maybe Asriel and Dess got caught in a dark world and something went horribly wrong with them both. Asgore didnāt see what happened to his son, but he did witness what happened with Dess. I am curious though as to why Asgore reiterates that what happened is not his fault.
Why else would Kris go to such extremes and put themself at risk, and to lie to everyone around them? Because Kris desperately misses and loves their brother. I also noticed a small reoccurring thing of Kris averting their eyes from Asrielās room, refusing to give any details during the knight fight, and thinking of jockington (lol) if you choose to think of the knight in ch4. They know who the knight is, and absolutley do NOT want us to know who it is. They want to protect their brother.

ok mad rant over and last post for the day, I just found out about the knight is Krisā original soul/discarded vessel theory which is pretty cool, and would also make a ton of sense. And Rudy could still be the knight if he was the one who created that fountain in the first place, with Dess accidentally getting caught up in whatever he was doing. He does have this weirdā¦passive threateningness to his character. Thereās something going on with him for sure. But listen, the game isnāt done yet. Even the most passionate theory is still just a theory until the game is over and done with. I could be wrong, we could all be fuckin wrong. But that's the beauty of stuff like this. If Iām proved wrong, AWESOME. I canāt wait to see what comes next, no matter what.
If you read this far thank you lol and sorry I canāt give you back your time. ąø ^ā¢ļ»ā¢^ąø
I wanna know why the knight went from a sobbing screaming mess in ch3, to the cocky ass bastard taunting us in ch4. And in ch5, it was just dead straight, flew in and did its job, murdered flowery, straight out.
It seems like a different person every time we encounter it. Is it an amalgam? Are multiple people controlling the body? It does have many mouths laughing around it. Kind like how friendās laughter is made up of many voices. In fact itās the same laughter. It all comes back to friend lol.
Ok letās start with something really easy.
Flowery and Rudy. Iām definetley not the first to notice this, but if youāre paying attention, itās pretty godamn obvious they have parallels to each other, even down to their facial expressions and hair.
Thereās also MUCH dialogue between them of the days gone by, how flowery was āAsgoreās collage classmateā. Thereās also the whole romantic tension thing theyāve got going on, something heavily implied between Rudy & Asgore from the anniversary alarm clock dialogue, and Asgore giving flowers to Rudy ingame.
Also, Flowery calls Asgore āGoreyā, the same as Rudy.
Of course, Flowery isnāt just meant to be a one to one stand in for Rudy, thereās a bit more to him than that, but the connections are plain.
Now whatās suspicious about all this, and Iām glad others noticed too, is how Flowery also reminded me of the knight. The floating around, the afterimages and such. Heās the only flower capable of doing this. Hell, he even put up a pretty good fight against the knight itself.
What does that say about RUDY? Is he heckin omg knight theory confirmed?? The old Rudy is gone, metaphorically cut down and replaced by this monster? Idk, I guess weāll have to wait and see, but it is very strange.
Not dead
Iāve had a MASSIVE hiatus from this blog because of a bunch of personal shit that took me months to recover from, and I still am recovering.
I have played chapter 5. It has been a little difficult to formulate my own thoughts due to how quickly everyone comes up with their own, and thereās always obvious clues I missed, but I think Iām ready now. Thereās been a lot of mixed feelings and the overall reaction I see is ānot what I expectedā and ā weirdest chapter everā ect, and honestly, yeah I get it. But I donāt think thatās a bad thing
Anyway, more ramblings coming soon!
The sheer terror of asking someone what they thought about Tenna, they say they didnāt like him, their main takeaway being āI guess the message is that tv is bad.ā
I wonder how upset the fandom will be if itās revealed Gaster doesnāt actually have holes in his hands.
Not to be an absolute cringe buzzkill but part of me is very sad that Asgore was this tragic king figure in Undertale, and now heās just a clown. I mean the truck songās kind of funny, it only took me being waterboarded with those memes to finally crack a smile at that āBergentruckā video lol. But truck memes aside yeah uh, Iām not really liking Asgore a whole lot in Deltarune so far.
I loved him more than Toriel in Undertale (not for bara reasons), I guess I romanticised the image of a depressed king whoād done horrible things but was still genuinely polite, and remorseful with you before the fight itself.
But hey! Weāre living in the DUI timeline now where Asgore gets drunk, noms all the snacks off the tray and is way too desperate to make up with his divorced wife. Might as well have a laugh.
This was the thrash machine I made. I thought the sword had a cute face šø
Why does the church look like Ralsei.
āI donāt get the thirst for Te-ā¦ā
So when Rouxls Kaard was first introduced, and I didnāt yet know how the dark worlds worked, I thought he was based on a blue screen error.
Naaah nah nah not this shit again. Someone is hiding in these closets. Also why did the priest NOT bury his dadās ash covered hammer as per tradition, and instead just keep it in his drawer? Is he in on this dark fountain business??
I dunno bro you tell me
The jitterbug scene at the end of ch4 was really funny at first, but when Kris and Susie got uncomfortable, I did too, and memories of my own parentsā messy divorce came flooding back.
Sorry mizzle simps.
(This is a joke, please do not kill me)
