This is fucked up. Her parents made this trans girl feel so bad about herself and her gender that she felt the need to kill herself. No one should ever do this and say this to someone. Especially their kids. This needs to stop happening. People need to understand that you don't choose your sexuality, or even your gender really. They need to accept the fact that people will transition and they need to deal with it in a way that doesn't make someone feel like shit.
