Quinn Ewers’ MAGA ass is clocking him FAST when he steps a foot inside Miami btw

emery jones is apparently a great hunter
told yall he'd do numbers in the afc north
i think they could be an interesting dynamic
like.... a hookup. the way they rile each other up in that video is so...
i have many opinions on the draft related to shedeur sanders but honestly? i cannot stand this entire thing and the way it rebounds to cam ward.
we did not get to see his reaction to being drafted because despite all his hard work and dedication the crew wanted to show sanders highlights instead. not to mention everyone else in this draft. all these young men working their asses off and their success and what should be a celebration being overshadowed by the shedeur sanders bullshit
sanders deserves a spot on an nfl team but to make the entire draft - a full three rounds so far - about him and how he should've, could've, would've, is embarrassing
I get your point but that's how it is because of the eyes that he brings, people want to watch him succeed or fail and the networks know that. It's unfair but the catch22 is that a lot of the qbs had an easier draft process than usual because there was a lack of overall scrutiny on them and all that attention was centred on Shedeur. Like very little were talking about Dillon Gabriel and co to nitpick them. It's unfair but not unexpected that it's all focused on him.
Also! I think jumping to the conclusion that it's his attitude is really unfair when we all know how the NFL draft chooses one kid to fucking tear apart in the draft process. Shedeur is an easy target and so this year it was him 🧍 mind you all that attitude shit was anonymous and real people have put their names behind saying he's a good kid. Real people and real teams/coaches. Cam should've gotten more coverage but that's the business of people too being shitting on Shedeur to focus on celebrating the other kids isn't it? Skip is not representative of anyone but himself lmaoo he's literally the only one who said shit like this.
only one who said shit like that?
i disagree. but that's also my point: there is so much focus on sanders whether positive or negative it has taken over the entire draft.
The evidence being Colorado fan accounts and Skip Bayless while the majority of people knew that Cam was going to be the first qauterback off the board and rightfully so. What I'm getting here is that real issue is that Cam isn't getting the attention that he deserves, fine I get that but that's not Shedeur's fault is it? Sports media is shit and we all know that, and I'm pretty sure that Shedeur doesn't appreciate the attention now that he's fallen to the fourth round but that's still going to be the story. And it shouldn't be. Also, saying he was a prick in all his interviews is such a huge assumption when none of us were in the room and the teams say whatever they want to justify their decision all the time. For all the people saying he has character issues, there's people who say otherwise. None of them hold much weight until we see how things play out in the place he gets drafted to.
I recognise the dumb shit he's said about the offensive line at Colorado etc and more but is he the first and last qauterback to say stuff like that? For all those times where he was a 'bad teammate' there were examples of him backing up his teammates and being a good teammate. None of which cancels out the other btw, but people can mature and get better at being part of a team. And obviously the teams didn't agree idk or whatever else factored into their decisions to not draft him.
Not working out can be seen as a mistake and I think it was. He should have done the combine and he didn't, his mistake for taking that bad advice. Okay and where does that leave us? He's fallen to the fourth round, if the point was to humble a douchy kid (unconfirmed douch btw) then he's been 'humbled'. They should be focusing more on Cam and they aren't, it's shitty and that needs to change. The Sanders name is an attention drain but Shedeur was good in college, really good. Good enough to take a 1 win team to a bowl game in 2 years. He also could've been better. Two things can be true at once. He wouldn't be getting this much attention if he wasn't Deion's son but he's not a bum either. Acting like Shedeur had this coming or whatever because you think he's a cocky kid is where I disagree with you. And yeah people are defending him because there's a lot of people with big names being overly cruel and saying that he needed to 'humbled' etc which is very coded language and there's also a lot of other people who are inflating the situation to an injustice. This is just something that happened. Do I think it's unfair, yes, but the end of the day that means nothing. I wish they would focus on Cam more but other than that, let's agree to disagree.
+the example of Johnny is a good one but it's a false equivalence because Johnny was seen as a better prospect and he wasn't part of a famous football family when he was doing all his antics, I don't think that it applies to Shedeur and this a compliment to Johnny. Also I think Shedeur is a confident kid but he wasn't getting arrested in college so that's a big difference to me.
i just want the boys who actually got drafted to be focused on
shedeur deserves a spot. i don't think he ever needed to be humbled, but i think it makes sense as to why he slid. he definitely should not have slid to the fourth round - i think that's related to his record in college. despite the talent he has, they don't see him as a "winner"
Sports media just suck and it's stupid that they have to affected by all this shit. It's not fair to Cam and everyone else and it's not fair to Shedeur. Anyways, draft day is draft day but eh I'm just waiting for Shedeur to be drafted so that I can root for him on his new team. I'm going to rooting for both of them but I'm thinking of Shedeur because he hasn't landed anywhere yet. The difference is I'm just a person and the media is the media, we can't operate the same way.
"a meeting of minds who are just bad at articulating their points!" lmfao you're so real for that
hopefully sanders goes somewhere he won't get wasted too. it does suck for everyone involved and i can only hope the draft ends and people can focus on the other stuff
what did cam ward mean by this?
"i'm not unemployed anymore" cameron.

YOU CANNOT ESCAPE THE WARD
there are so so SO many quarterback/wide receiver duos that have burnt out and broken up in awful, heart wrenching ways. the way you would write sonnets and poems with how much they yearn for one another, how they look for each other in their new teammates.
then there's burrow and his two boys. higgins and chase, destined to stay together and the complete opposite of those duos. celebrate each other more than themselves, refused to be separated, clawed and begged the front office to keep them together. the way one would leave love notes on the counter every morning before leaving for work, the way you would sneak in strawberries cut into the shapes of hearts if you packed them lunch
the difference between "my receiver/quarterback" as possession vs. "my receiver/quarterback" as devotion
and people call them "best friends" btw
