Finally got round to drawing my piratesona, the pirate with moles!

Character details under cut 🏴‍☠️⬇️

I've wanted to design my own pirate for this film for ages and I think I've done a nice blend of the film's artstyle with my own as well as including clothing I could actually see myself wearing if I did take up the seafaring life

The idea in my head is that Moles joins the crew after mysteriously crash landing into the ship's figurehead and being dredged up, only to find that they have amnesia from the head trauma (yes I isekai'd myself, I am cringe but free). It's set after the events of the film/books (sorta a combination of both really)

I have rather a lot of art/story ideas about how Moles interacts with the crew (helping them with some of their issuses along the way) & loving being a pirate while also trying to learn exactly who they are. It is extremely indulgent and probably only appeals to me but this whole thing has become my writing/drawing muse

Fingers crossed I'll actually finish the short fic related to this that's been a wip for a year...

Also, the design for the background was inspired by some of the concept art for the film, just with some added detail

I used this artwork ⬇️ in particular for referencing the background colours (I adore the concept art for this film so, so much)
