I drew Cecil from AXELL/The Hoopers for @shimadere‘s birthday!!

I had fun doing this - the framing/background/roses was a lil bit new for me, but I enjoyed it!

Honestly I’m not 100% happy with this but I did myself a kinda Disney prince self portrait! I still have a long way to go before I can be happy with my watercolour skills, haha!

Playing with watercolours, trying to come up with a gradient sky scene to use as a background. The first one (left) was used in the final piece, the other was not. But, hey, they’re still pretty.

I did an art somewhat outside my normal comfort zone! This was for a creative chain with friends, where you’d receive a piece in some creative medium (be it drawing, poetry, prose, music, sculpture, whatever!) and create a piece in response, which would then be passed along to the next person in the chain.

This was inspired by a short poem about two people sharing an intense spark of passion that later fizzles out. I went... Very much abstract with it, haha. I’m very rusty with how watercolours work, not to mention I’ve not used watercolour paints before, just tablet watercolours. Still, I kinda like it! I think it’s growing on me.

The chain hasn’t actually come to a close yet but it’s very near the end, plus I don’t think any of them check here, haha, so I’m posting it a little early!

The figures were referenced from this stock art, flipped horiztonally. (SenshiStock is my favourite!!)

I’ve been working with the Goatdog some more, lately. I’ve been roughing up a bunch of introspective four panel comics, and I plan to neaten some of them up and release them as a webcomic at some point in the future. Stay tuned!

I’m thinking of writing a dating sim where the characters are based off foods. It’d be set in a cooking academy. These are some sketches of the cast so far. (Tumblr’s image cropping has not been kind to a couple of them but the alternative is making a mediocre sketch very large and yeah maybe not.)

In order, we have Yasu (aubergine/eggplant), Tsuki (tsukimono/pickled vegetables), Shoyu (soy sauce), Michi (white rice) and Tarou (taro).

It’s official, I’ve fallen in love with @waterparksband - I met them on Sunday at Slam Dunk, and promptly ran over to their headline show in London on Tuesday. I drew them some things because I wanted to give something back to them, and here are those things, plus some backgrounds kinda stuck on there for contrast.

Each is based off a song! Awsten’s is Pink, Geoff’s is Crave and Otto’s is New Wave. Geoff’s and Otto’s are heavily influenced by the music videos too. (Pink doesn’t have an MV yet and IT NEEDS ONE)

It made me really happy that they seemed to really like them!! It sounds cheesy, but I was so glad I could make them smile after how much joy their music has brought me.

The source sketch has been posted before, but I cleaned up this Edgeworth doodle into a new icon for my AO3! Ace Attorney’s my primary fic fandom and I wanted something a little more fitting (given I was previously using the same icon as for this blog, which is one of my LARP characters and not fandom related at all, haha.)

My submission for Kyohei’s foreign fans grad book, and WIP photos! (Only, like, a week and a half after the face, haha... Ha... I’m not in denial, nope...)

I kind of want to go re-edit the colour version because I rushed it at like 2am so I didn’t miss the deadline, but kinda didn’t notice that I cut out most of the grey from the shirt... But, hey, this is the version I submitted, so, there we have it.
