I probably should have done this when I hopped onto the server but ehhhh.

You guys can call me Abo or B or really whatever. My pronouns? Idk, I just kinda eat all of them put in front of me. I’m 17 and I really love to yap.

I started tumblr three years ago as I heard about it from one of the coolest people ever (if you guys can guess who you’ll get a gold star).

Tbh. I didnt really understand tumblr. I kinda just left it there. Then around this summer I came back and am starting to understand tumblr lore more and more everyday.

While I go on leaps of absences, when I am here I am a big fan of:

I recently got back into the mood of writing fanfic. As someone who is trying to embrace their creativity again and have broken free of the chains known as routine and just intaking information, I have decided to atleast do one art or chapter a day. Many of these fics may be going on at once, some I may never touch again, but I strive to do my best, and if you are one of my readers or just somebody passing by, if I do decide to discontinue something, I will convey it here. .

- A Fog That Beckons Death (currently 1 chapter in and 684 words) this is about Beyond and Light from Death Note in a semi modern setting where they investigate this abandoned place.

- Just A Day In the Life (Completed 1 chapter, 724 words) another Beyond and Light fic. This one is quite literally just a silly roleplay between me and my friend from years ago which I plan to get out of the script format and into a proper style.

- If L Was Summoned To Earth, AfterDeath (1 Chapter and currently unfinished, 1,001 words) This is a crossover fic of both Death Note and this book called Scythe. It is heavily LawLight coded and was written when I was like 12. So no, I don’t understand the whole context here, sorry.

I have two side blogs. The first one is a silly gimmick where i pose as my favorite character (she looked away so i can speak my truth, i am literally beyond birthday guys!!!) and secondly skibidis-yuri-life which i post my ramblings and what not.

I’m currently making art of my favorite evil character: Zandik, or Dottore. I haven’t done lineart in like— forever. and coloring? i hate doing it. I feel like his face is a little wide and i could probably fix that with nose placement. but for those whom it concerns, i do not have 76 layers, i have 3. My colors, the sketch, and the lineart. So significant progress there! I can’t decide which way I like him better. I started with the first photo, but the second one just really speaks to me. Anyways if theres any advice, id love to hear it!

it is very real when people say lineart makes the difference! it takes a really long time but if u plan it out it looks amazing!!

man. it is what happens when i either have different materials or colors. idk why i do this.

I was talking to my friend the other day about this.

idk why restaurants give you: red blue green and then: yellow. (it’s so light, and it just really makes the whole gradient ehhhhh)

it isnt able to stand out against the dark colors and children are more likely to create a less visually appealing artwork. (atleast thats how i felt when i was a wee lad of about 6 or 7 years of age) We can’t see the yellow with the blue red and green. If they give lighter color like red, orange, sky blue, and dark green. Man they don’t even gotta do orange, just sky blueeeeeeee. I need to meet whoever is in charge

i mean the dark red, blue, and green dont particularly stand out. i’d have to do my research but I think even from a developmental standpoint it doesn’t make sense. They are so bright/dark and dont really look good when mixed together. As children, they color really hard, and so these colors while they can be managed to mix, it is extremely difficult, and I know I always got frustrated as a child when the colors messed up. I did a bit of research, lighter colors are better for children developmentally (source? A few articles I read in some of the first words, I intend to actually find some credible sources on this when I’m not so tired so this will have to do for now).

And to make matters worse, these kids likely don’t know their primary colors and how to mix them (I know I sure didn’t back when I was getting my kids menus). So it can get messy real quick. So failure to do something sorta dulls creativity. (Like even if they succesfully mix the colors, after trial and error, they do look dull). Perhaps I’m yapping (I definitely am). But, coloring and stuff is supposed to be joyful and creative. For some young children it might be with these limited colors, but I think that there should be a way to make them more inclusive and stuff that can spark even more joy and creativity.

I know red is popular, but pink would probably be a better option.

Just wanted to say that I feel so honored that you found my animation worthy of your liking. I was very eager to finish it in the process making due to feeling unmotivated and thinking that it wasn’t good enough. I struggled a lot with certain aspects regarding my style, as I wasn’t satisfied with it and just wanting it to be perfect. But seeing so much people (at least too much for me, lol) loving it made me feel so happy!! I can’t truly express how much it means to me.

i have unfortunate news… my dog got into luka. she is now missing part of an arm and her skirt.

so i just drew mizu 6. for context i had drawn a mizu 5 and an ena 5 mizuki. and ive been doing them ontop of each other. it wasnt the intent but ena 5 (the purple one) goes so well with mizu 6. (the teal/green shirt one).
