   Believe it or not, t’was not a break up of the romantic type. T’was a break up between family & land. Balthier could not stand to see his father consumed with greed & lust for nethecite. Nor could he stand being a judge, which his father manipulated the system to get Balthier in. So he took it upon himself to break up with both, & take to the skies above.

      Thank you kindly to those who have followed so far. You might know me from other blogs AKA @infusedblues & @blasteredged. I felt the need to bring back my Balthier to offer the FF fandom some more diversity. I do hope you enjoy my Leading Man. It has been some time since I have rped him. But he does offer up some interesting interactions. I know the way I write over here is vastly different from my other two muses. However, if you notice the way I speak & write differs between muses because that is how I channel the feeling & narration. I am excited to have a chance to roleplay with you all here as well.     Balthier’s freedom is what drives him. He wishes not to ground himself; true enough, he has people he considers ‘comrades’, but the idea of falling in love does not come to his mind often. Charm comes easily to him due to his upbringing, & now profession of sorts. However, to ask him to exchange his life in the skies & freedom to do what he wishes, it would take much. The only person he has ever kept at his side for an extended period of time is Fran. She like him rejects the land from which they are from. They both wish for freedom & a life of their own.

     lithe digits tap against his leg for a moment, eyes glancing around the area. truly, a quaint little sea side town, nothing for the picking he is sure. t’would be a sully on his name if he could not pick out that of value, so instead he opts for a drink at the local pub. ah, nothing like a bit of info from the local drunks, aye? feet cross the threshold, & instead of his pointed gaze landing on a drunk, instead it picks out a blonde in the corner keeping to herself. interesting. it takes not but a few side steps to arrive at her side, a charming smile gracing thin lips.
