Hey Bestie!! I don’t know if you take requests but I’ve loved your ‘BAU team head canons’ for what they eat for breakfast and I have a scenario if you’re interested!

I’m currently super sick and was wondering if you could do a head canon post for how the team would react if their partner got sick. Would they still go on a case? Would they cook or would their cooking be a disaster? Just whatever you can think of! 😁

How the BAU would react if you were sick spouse/partner edition.

Reid: Would still work but he would be worried, would look up what you have and what you need to do/take to get better. He’d be close but not too close when home from a case. Imagine Sheldon from BBT spraying the air with disinfectant spray 🤣

Hotch: would check up on you, but wouldn’t miss work and would wear a mask if he saw you to protect Jack.

JJ: wouldn’t work but would stay home to make you soup, check your temperature, get you water, meds, blankets and would sing Soft Kitty to you.

Emily: would work but would text you constantly for updates. Would use Uber eats to order your favourite takeout and when she’s home would snuggle with you watching your favourite movies.

Penelope: would make you soup, toast and tea, and wouldn’t leave your side. She’d work quietly on her laptop next to you whilst you slept.

Rossi: would work but when he got home he would bring you flowers (or chocolates), would make you pasta and rub your back giving you snuggles.

Derek: would work, but when he was home would make you protein shakes or meals with higher protein to make up for you not eating properly when you were sick. Would let you watch your favourite shows but would lovingly tease you over some of them. Despite secretly loving them.

Luke: would work, but would leave Roxy with you for snuggles and would send you goofy snap chats to cheer you up. Would come home early without being asked and bring home flowers or chocolates.

Matt: would work, but he’d send you texts checking up on you and if you asked he’d come home early.

It's still so funny to me that hobbit society has technology like pony-traps and handkerchiefs and post offices but the realms of Men and Elves, at least, are very much still in their version of the High Middle Ages. I would kill for a scene where Aragorn starts doing the whole Galavant thing - we shall meet when the night air grows as chill as the depths of Moria and the setting sun colours the sky that particular shade of blue as to recall to us the sinking of Numenor into the very Sea Itself - and Pippin just goes 'have none of you guys ever learned to use a freaking clock'.
