You and Bo have been married for 6 years now. Given the miscegenation laws in place in Mississippi, y’all went to Minnesota to get married. The marriage wouldn’t be valid in Mississippi if anyone questioned it, but no one cared— no one had a reason to.
You helped Bo manage the store— you would sometimes come in earlier than him. Helping set up or finish what was leftover, he hated when you would do that. He didn’t want you to feel responsible for those things and he sure as hell didn’t want you walking to the store in the early hours of the morning.
Today, you woke up early and snuck out of the bed to head to the store. You got there, making sure the door was locked behind you and got to work. You swept, mopped, organized the shelves, updated the inventory and lit a honey scented candle. By the time the sun came up and Bo was coming in— you had did all of the work and put him ahead for the day.
Bo unlocked the door, coming in and causing the bell above to ring— he had a hand full of newspapers and a cigarette in his mouth, shutting the door with his foot.
“Sugar, you here?”
You walk out of the back closet, smiling and fixing your dress.
“Yes, honey. I’m here”
You make your way to the front, grabbing the papers and putting the ashtray on the counter.
“I done told you about smoking in here. It stinks and I just lit a candle.” You nag.
Bo takes the cigarette out of his mouth, inhaling one last time and putting it out in the ashtray.
“Sorry about that, honey.”
You look at the notepad with all of the list crossed off, sliding it across the counter to Bo.
He reads it and raises his brows.
“Sugar, you didn’t have to come in early and do that. It would’ve been handled today.”
You shrug your shoulders. “It might have been done if you had time and then you would’ve been tired, it wasn’t a big deal.”
He grabs you, pulling you in close and wrapping his hands around your waist.
“Plus, you know how I feel about you sneaking in here, early in the morning.”
You giggle at what he said, not taking his concern too serious.
“I’m not sneaking in anywhere.”
He smirks, kissing your lips and getting a bit carried away.
“Bo!” You giggle.
He pulls back, but not before smacking your ass.
“My, my, my.” He says with a southern drawl.
You walk back towards the counter, standing there leaning against it—as Bo unlocks the door and switches the sign to open.
It’s busy all day, you’re barely getting time to sit down and get off your feet. Your stomach starts to feel funny as well, which sours your mood and makes you want to rest.
You take note of the calendar on the wall, realizing what day it was and how late you were. You had missed your cycle and it didn’t even cross your mind, before now.
Sore boobs, bloated stomach, naps all the time and randomly throwing up? You had been so busy with everything, that you just finally noticed and put all the details together.
The last customer walks out the door and Bo rushes to turn over the sign to closed.
“Whoo! Bout damn time, we are closed.” Bo laughs as he claps.
Bo sees you bent over the counter with your head down.
“Baby, you okay?”
You look at him, trying to mask your discomfort and nervousness.
“I’m okay, just need to sit down.”
He runs over to your side and grabs you, kissing you on the cheek.
“Don’t worry about that, we’re about to go home now and you can relax.”
You two walk out of the store, Bo locking the door and helping you into the car.
You get home and can’t wait to sit down, your feet are sore, your stomach is in knots and sleep is calling your name.
Bo fixes you some tea, the kind is grandmother used to always make.
“Honey, are you sure you’re okay?” He asks, staring at you while you sip your tea.
You nod, trying not to burn yourself with the tea.
He comes behind the chair, hovering over you and starts rubbing your shoulders.
“You do so much for me. I’m so grateful for you and the way you guide me.”
You place your hand on top of his.
You get up from the chair, placing the cup on the table. Your mind racing, trying to figure out how you’ll tell Bo.
“Come get in the bed with me.” You ask him, grinning.
“Oh, I’d love to.”
You get in the bedroom and you both strip out of your work clothes and lay across the bed, your head on his chest. You lay there for several minutes before you say anything.
“Bo—“
“I need to talk to ya.” You say nervously.
Bo adjusts, staring at you and kind of worried.
“Hmm?” He responds.
You feel yourself about to cry, you wouldn’t normally cry over a conversation like this—but today you were.
Bo sits up and raises you up, he’s concerned.
“Honey, why are you crying? Is everything okay?”
You wipe your face and shrug.
“That depends.”
Bo’s heart is racing.
“Tell me what’s going on. You’re gonna give me a heart attack.”
You sigh, trying to keep from laughing at that statement.
“I’m ..”
“I’m pregnant, Bo.”
He stares at you blankly and raises one eyebrow.
“What?” He chuckles, trying to make sense of what you said.
The realization hits him and he immediately grabs you into a hug.
“You’re carrying my baby? I’m gonna be a daddy!” Bo shouts. He is so excited, thrilled at the news.
“Sugar, you didn’t have to worry about that. I’ve been wanting a baby with you. That’s what had you upset?”
His fingers wipe your face.
“I love you and I love our baby too. You don’t have to worry about anything with me.” He puts his hand on your belly.
“From here on out, all I do will be for us. I promise you.”
“I love you, Bo. I just was scared of how you would react, especially with the store being so busy.” You admit.
He kisses you, like he didn’t even care what you had just said. Kissing your neck and rubbing his hand on your back. He lays you back on the bed. Pulling you closer to the edge.
“Fuck the store.” He groaned.
“You’re so sexy, baby. I’ve been wanting you all day and hearing that news, makes me want you more.”
“Bo, are you—“
“Shh.” Bo puts his finger to his mouth.
He slides your panties off with ease, wasting no time and looks at how wet you are.
“Clearly, you wanted me too.” He rubs his fingers in between your folds.
It makes you shake a little, you feel extra sensitive down there.
He licks his fingers, wanting the taste to last forever. He moans as he tastes his fingers.
“You taste so good, honey.”
He slowly pushes two of his fingers in you at the same time.
“Mhmm.” You moan, running your fingers through his hair.
He glides his tongue all around your pussy, making you lose all sense of control.
“Bo! Fuck.” You mutter, in between moans.
He smiles, loving the way you squirm and the way you taste.
“That’s it mama.” He coached you.
He sucks on your clit, making your toes curl— pumping his fingers in and out of you as they hit your g-spot.
“Baby, mmhm.”
He doesn’t stop or slow down, he keeps the same pace— pushing you closer and closer to orgasm.
You clench around his fingers and he chuckles.
“You like that, Sugar?” He groans, looking up at you as he devours you.
“If you weren’t already pregnant, I’d definitely give you a baby tonight.”
“Bo, I’m gonna—“ you gasped, barely able to spit out.
“That’s right, Sugar. Cum for me.”
“Fuck! Oh, fuck”
“Mhmm, that pretty pussy missed me.” He moans.
Your orgasm washed over you, making you feel weak.
You lay there, trying to catch your breath and to stop your legs from shaking. Everything happened so quick, you weren’t expecting that response from him.
Bo gets up, face covered in your slick. He helps you off the bed and gives you the sloppiest kiss you’ve ever had.
“Let’s get you cleaned up.” He smiles, having you walk in front of him and enjoying the view.
You could already tell that this pregnancy was going to keep you busy after work.
