i love a good genderqueer girlfailure hugo but like i feel like we’ve accidentally pushed loser hugo so hard that now we’re just feeding varian’s ego and it’s making things 100 times worse. like this guy drew a goatee on himself to take over a kingdom and then ate shit and fell on his face. he was so desperate for companionship that he took in a random raccoon he just fucking found on his dads farm. he called cass “milady” when he tried to flirt with her (??????) and sure its been abt 3 or 4 years but like he doesn’t have a lot of relationship experience i promise you 4 years isn’t gonna do much for him

Jon and Daisy are best friends because they met in detention - Daisy was there because she got in a fistfight with Mike Crew and drew blood by biting him, Jon was there because he wasn’t paying attention in class and meowed when the teacher asked him a question. Jon compliments the wolf Daisy is drawing on the desk and validates her wolf feelings, Daisy has only read a couple of the Warrior Cats books but knows enough to contribute to a conversation and ends up getting lectured about the series by Jon and they get another detention for talking. They’re best friends now.

My distant grandfather was one of three chiefs around the time when the original aid was sent to Ireland— it’s a beautiful piece of history that ties Ireland to Native Americans (namely the Choctaw Nation) in a beautiful and profound way. Ireland has even recently set up a scholarship for Choctaw students to study in Ireland as part of the two nations deep history.

The Choctaw Nation had recently in its history (around the 1830s) gone through the Trail of Tears, and were hardly in a position to help any others while suffering so greatly. Yet, when news of the famine in Ireland surfaced, the Choctaw Nation gave more in aid than both the US and UK combined.
