Having with a mother with Schizophrenia isn't easy. Growing up, she raised me the best way that she knew how. Right away, I was forced to be independent and strong. After finding the love of her life dead and the atrocity of having the state take away her 3 kids 10 years ago, I've learned from her endless resilience. I respect and love my Mom for all she has made me to be. Happy Mother's Day to every strong woman out there fighting to live every day.

So we didn't find Programs for People because Mom doesn't believe in cell phones BUT we're here among beautiful, strong people fighting to #endthestigma and I'm very proud to be doing @namiwalksmass for the second year!!! (at Artesani Park -Soldiers Field Rd.)
