if you were to go back and redo your AU, is there anything you would change?

Aside from fixing drawing/writing mistakes and issues I personally have with it, not really. I'm quite proud of what I've created.

buuuuut also even though it'd piss people off I'd probably make abstragedy, jesterdoll, and royalteeth canon.

the only reason i didn't make any relationships canon is because everyone has their own ships and favorite headcanons and at the end of the day this is a story meant to reach anyone who's ever struggled with mental health and that shit is MESSY so fitting a relationship into all of it wouldn't have balanced very well

What if when the computer reset, so was Caine alongside Bubble?

in an alternate ending of Caine getting reset he'd lose all the progress he made. I'm sure the others could eventually get him back but I wanted the core theme to be that you can never escape depression or mental illness in general no matter what, but it is possible to see better days.

Bubble lost nothing but the ability to abuse power and torment Caine and that version of him will not be missed

what was the risk with the reset?

Since the computer has been running so long there was a risk of it completely shutting off and erasing their existence. They may not completely enjoy their lives in the circus but they are human and don't want to die

thankfully it worked out as intended and they are safe for the rest of their existence in the circus until the computer is destroyed
