Being away in the dead of night was normal - being awake, on top of rooftops, in the dead of nights was also normal. It was almost his preferred way of travel, honestly - just a glance, a little swipe of a finger and there he was, erasing space and time and standing somewhere new. Very few people actually looked up, either. Very few people walked on top of rooftops when it wasn’t time for watching fireworks or doing something shady either.
So when he swiped his way over to a rooftop and rounded a corner to see another woman, Blank Space was very surprised. Well, shit, I’ve been caught. He thought, but when she hardly seemed to move or care about him, he couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow at her beneath his mask. “Well, what kind of business do we have up here?” he asked, tucking his arms behind his back. He would zip away if things got hairy. “Something as shady and distrustful as me?”
