suo's going to cry. definitely, 100%. i just dunno what type of crier he would be, i mean:

if suo cries loudly and visibly, then it'd be a brutal reminder that for all his maturity and untouchability, he's still a 15 year old boy. it'd be wildly out of character, but it'd fit the emotional climax being set up in this arc really well.

if suo is the type to try and stifle his sobs and only cry when his face is hidden in someone's shoulder, then it'd definitely align with how he has lived his life repressing his feelings and desires so far. it wouldn't be as much of a reality slap as the first option, but it's the more likely one given what we know of suo.

umemiya and hiragi going on this infiltration mission instead of kiryu and tsuge scares me more .. a bunch of first years causing issues is one thing but THE LEADER OF FURIN AND ONE OF THE KINGS? happy to see the shishitoren arc group again (- suo obv 🥹) and to see umemiya and hiragi show concern for suo but .. this shit is gonna get Serious with these two involved 😭

if/when we get suo's childhood in the manga i also hope we get a silly montage of him rakta and bacchus growing up and doing the most sibling nonsense ever. suo being sent to ask their master for fast food for dinner because master will say no if rakta or bacchus do it. bacchus hitting suo too hard and when suo starts tearing up he goes OKAY OKAY DONT CRY SHHH YOU CAN HIT ME BACK. rakta says one (1) word and the other two start CRACKING UP (it's an inside joke with 5 years of lore). and so on

this wind breaker fixation hit me at the worst time i felt so motivated to watch more shows from my backlog now that the spring anime season finished but no. only wind breaker on the brain. why would i watch anything else when it doesn’t have any of my favs in it?

had a dream a new bsd chapter came out and dazai died, not even in a potential death bait way like a cinematic death that was very permanent, and i genuinely think that was the most upsetting dream ive had in a while. woke up in a cold sweat feeling extra maternal over him. then i got on twt and saw this official art and almost cried.

- as sad as the circumstances are i’m glad it seems like the hunting dogs will remain in the story under teruko’s lead ! i really hope they play a role in the future and aren’t discarded cause the DOA arc is over !

- tecchou :(((( and jouno protecting him in his own way and not letting him see fukuchi up close sighhhh. ofc we know tecchou is a very loyal person but his reaction makes me even more curious on his backstory, i don’t think tecchou of all characters would act like that if it was purely a captain-soldier relationship.

- honestly the agency shutting down isn’t too surprising but i’m curious what everyone will do, it’d be kinda sad if everyone just splits rn they just reunited. also Where the hell is dazai

- kyouka girl what the hell. Hm ok listen in all seriousness i don’t really mind the concept of kyouka having a crush on atsushi as long as it’s not reciprocated. she’s a 14 year old girl i feel like it makes sense for her to have some confusing feelings for the boy who treats her so kindly but atsushi you know better.

- anddd atsushi is in london. not even modern london ? exciting for the possible agatha / order of the clocktower arc but i hope this london moment is just kinda set up and it’s just natsume talking to atsushi somehow??? and then he goes back. too many questions from the previous arc still like where so many characters ended up (dazai??, sigma, nikolai, akutagawa, other pm characters), the port mafia exchange, etc. for us to just move on to a whole new arc now like let us breathe! maybe that’s just me.

still enjoyed the chapter tho tbh and i’m happy to see it seems like it’s just a month break! hope asagiri, harukawa and the rest of the team enjoy the break!
