So like. I never had an OC blog before, mostly because I never even bothered creating OCs, but I became obsessed with Skylaine (said OC), so I decided to make this OC related blog about her
What you will/might see here:
- (Fun) facts ( #skybox.daughter.funfact )
- Lore/Acts ( #skybox.daughter.lore )
- Art ( #skybox.daughter.art )
- (In-character) Answers (still thinking about that, I've never done that before) ( #skybox.daughter.answers )
I have never been good at writing stories, so, sorry if there's something unlogical in the lore
I have written short(!!) acts to her and I am still figuring out, how I want all of this to look like. I'm not gonna post these all at once, tho.

Act 2 - Humanity…
Humanity… Telamon didn’t understand that aspect of her.
Just because she had been granted the powers of a divine sword, it didn’t mean she had become a goddess. She had become a demi-goddess who refused to neglect her humane side, despite those powers.
Her laughter was full of joy rather than mockery. Her posture.. so relaxed.. instead of being corrupted by a bloated ego and arrogance.
He couldn't hold back. He had to understand the meaning behind her humanity:
Telamon: "Skylaine, tell me, why is there no mockery in your laughter?"
Skylaine: "Well… because laughing isn't always about ridiculing or mocking others. It’s simply about showing them that you’re in a good mood!"
Telamon: "Disgusting. A good mood does nothing to help you focus on your duties. Laughter that isn't meant for mockery is a sheer distraction. I do not want this to hinder you from reaching your full potential."
With those words, Telamon left the living room, leaving Skylaine behind in a state of confusion. Skylaine was well aware that Telamon, who's a god, was detached from humanity.
But the idea that he viewed it as a barrier to growth was something she simply couldn't make sense of.
Her humanity.. it was an unnecessary limit on reaching her potential. That had to change.
And so, the grueling training sessions between Telamon and Skylaine began. Unlike the basic training, these sessions were exhausting, brutal, and at times, even deadly.
Skylaine: "Telamon, I realize I need to learn how to use my powers correctly, but I am still human, and I have my limits. Can we please take a break?"
Telamon: "Breaks are for weak mortals. You must learn to detach yourself from the mortal half of your identity. This exhaustion is merely an unnecessary human barrier. You can awaken your full potential. I know it. Continue your training and do not let your mortal half dictate to you."
And so, she simply carried on.
Complaining achieved nothing.
Communication achieved nothing.
Spells of dizziness achieved nothing.
She simply had to keep going, because in Telamon’s eyes, everything she did was merely a fraction of her true potential, even though she had already exhausted every possibility.
She continued to train hard into the evening, developing methods even Telamon hadn't known about, yet it was never good enough for him
After months of this inhumane treatment, she burned out, trapped in the belief that she would always be a disappointment in Telamon’s eyes, someone who failed to take her own potential seriously.

Interlude - Get a grip of your powers
Skylaine stood there, completely transformed... and simply speechless. Telamon couldn't help but grin a little at the sight.
"Overwhelmed already?" he teased with a small chuckle.
"I’m literally standing on a cloud. Before that, I flew right through one. WHAT DO YOU THINK?" she replied frantically, her arms flailing wildly. Telamon just let out a brief laugh.
"Yeah, yeah... I know. That’s why I’m going to show you how to use these new powers of yours."
The basic training began.
He showed her how to split the wind, or even create it from scratch.
Tornadoes and hurricanes came later. Skylaine had already mastered targeting enemies from great distances.
All these new powers were overwhelming, yet she learned to handle them quickly and got the general hang of what she was capable of.
"Phew... time for a quick break, that was exhausting!" she said with a smile, satisfied with her performance. She let herself drop onto a cloud and made herself comfortable.
...That was a move Telamon didn't like.
How could anyone be satisfied with such a measly performance?

Act 1 – Backstory
Skylaine was an ordinary Robloxian—a simple student midway through her second semester, with good friends and good grades.
But ever since she was little, she had looked up to Telamon, the creator who pioneered the concept of "heights" with his game, SFOTH.
From that moment on, she realized: "If heights are now to be utilized in both games and real life, there must be someone to protect the Skybox." And so, she made it her personal mission to stand guard over the Skybox.
She started small, acquiring a simple slingshot and a pair of binoculars to spot and fend off threats.
Every now and then, Telamon would notice small stones being hurled into his realm from somewhere above, but he paid them no mind.
A few years later, she discovered an old airplane. Thanks to her father's mechanical aptitude, she was able to repair it, and since her mother was a pilot, Skylaine already had a rough idea of how to fly it. She soared high into the sky, finding it much easier to eliminate threats from that vantage point.. until, suddenly, her plane began to stall, and she started to fall...
Thankfully Telamon caught her, though, even then, he still hadn't truly taken notice of her deeds. She kept it all a secret, she told her parents she was out with friends, and she told her friends that her parents were too strict. In reality, she was constantly flying around for hours on end, protecting the Skybox from danger.
It took her four years to master her skills, as she also had to balance her studies.
But that dedication paid off.
Once she had truly mastered her abilities, Telamon began to observe her more and more closely, until, one day during one of her usual patrols, he finally summoned her to his side to speak with her. She was absolutely thrilled, she had finally been acknowledged by her idol!
And then they spoke:
Telamon: “Well... I’ve been observing you a little over the past few years. You are always here in the skybox for several hours a day, and lately, I’ve seen very few dangers lurking around here.”
Skylaine: “Oh, yes! When I saw how you created the concept of the heights, I felt that the skybox needed a protector, too.”
Telamon: “Interesting, and very admirable. You do your job very, very well.”
Skylaine (flustered): “Uh-oh! Um. Oh—thank you.”
Telamon: “How would you like it if I officially appointed you Guardian of the Skies? I believe the powers of Windforce could be of great assistance to you.”
And at that, Skylaine stood frozen.
Skylaine: “...W-What? You, the Great Telamon, wish to bestow upon me the powers of one of the very swords you created?!”
Telamon: “But of course. You are a very special case, and believe me... I do not grant such things lightly.”
She took one last flight in her plane, which could finally be laid to rest, and manipulated the clouds so that the ‘Drag Path’ she left behind would remain forever.
A reminder of where she came from.
And thus begins her life as Skylaine — Warden of the Sky.
