Candle running tips so it's a little less boring, seeing as we are getting 4 travling spirits soon in one go and the regular TS so you can stock up on candles, mostly involves the valley.
Do hermits light race, it's located in hermit valley and works like the regular races, you can get up to 2 candles doing this, the village of dreams also has 2 candle cakes, one located on the hotspring and the other near one of the boat stations, hermits home usually has one too.
Do one of the two regular valley races, would recommend the sliding instead of flying one because the sliding one is just easier to get lights in my opinion. You can get another two candles here
Do the daile music sheet, this can give you one whole candle
Visit granny once or twice a day, she appears every two hours on the 30 mins past.
Look for the gate that has two red candles next to it every day, this is the realm with the candle cakes.

I recommend going to Hermit Valley via the Windpaths because you can get two permanent candle cakes:
one in a tunnel under the main island (entrance is the very first tunnel you see when you enter the area)
one between the entrances of Sanctuary Island and Forgotten Ark (you have to exit the wind tunnel when you reach the Sanc entrance) (it's on a floating island!)
