Doppio’s brows knit, pointing towards the buster sword, resting against a nearby wall. He looked so worried and frantic.
Zack thought he was mishearing the stranger. After all, this was clearly a sword. Nothing at all on it even resembled a phone.
“Um, could you repeat that? I thought you called my sword a phone for a moment.”

[❀] She walked around the cart. Her finger tapped at her chin as she inspected it with a mock seriousness. This one had turned out well. It wasn’t as though she’d begged for another, but the time they spent together working on these was something she cherished.
The flower girl put on her best disappointed pout, “It’s horrible. The wheel’s crooked, the handle is off center, and I think it’s missing a screw on that side.”
Laughter followed after the fake complaints. A bright smile replaced the pout that had been displayed on her face, “I’m just playing. It’s great Zack. I think I want to paint it blue.”
Her words at first bit into him, he at least had considered that she’d hate the cart. But he wasn’t ready for such harsh comments on how he put it together. Only on how it looked in general.
Thankfully, the laughter he heard from her sent waves of relief through him. Aerith was joking with him! It was more than welcomed, though Zack felt like an idiot for almost taking it seriously.
“H-hey...” He smiled and laughed despite the protest.
Happily, he reached for the box he’d been storing all of the items they required for the wagon in. There were a couple paint brushes and a few paint cans in there too. Pulling the brushes out, he also grabbed two cans, presenting Aerith with the paint containers.
“There’s a dark and light shade of blue to choose from.”
