MADISON LAWRENCE.
“well, if it’s any consolation to you – i wasn’t doing anything extreme during my training. just lifting weights, ‘cause… you know, these puppies…” madison trailed off, rolling up the sleeve of her shirt to flex her arm muscles before she erupted into a fit of laughter, “—… won’t exactly upkeep themselves without that.” yes, she was aware that she sounded like every other, full of themselves craig that could easily be found at the gym taking pictures of himself at the mirror, but that was… just mattie being, well… mattie, in her full glory. “i… really don’t think this is a good idea — the last time i’ve tried to read something you’ve recommended to me, i ended up on the other side of the town, on the roof, with my feet dangling off the edge. i can’t really sit in one place for too long, and you know it, cloud.”
“ you know, ” skye began, putting her book aside to give her full attention to her friend. ( not that she needed attention, though it was clear that she was able to get it from anywhere but, yeah, that wasn’t exactly the point. ) “ i’m seriously reconsidering our friendship right now. like, can you give me at least one reason to not walk away from this room ? ” she asked, clearly joking. “ the books i recommend you are great and entertaining enough to sit in one place for too long it’s not my fault that you’re pretty much hyperactive, mattie. ” she teased, resisting the urge of rolling her eyes at the nickname.
