Overlord nods. “I may be a killer, at least I know how to take care of this who I take.” He said. Kind of. There was this one time with Max. But that was something different.

Skyfall kind of smiled a that. It was thin and wobbly, but it was coming from a general place in her spark.

“…That’s nice to know, I guess.” She stated quietly, “Last bot that kidnapped me acted like my friend, but attacked me at opportunity he got angry. I…almost didn’t make it off the ship alive. So, it’s nice to know that I’m safer here then there…”

“If he is still alive, I can make him suffer.” Overlord offers with a smirk. “But it up to you.” He said as he finish eating.

Skyfall blinked. Surprise clear on her face. She looked up at the massive mech.

“T-Thank you. I mean it.” She said, “Though, you’re not going to get the chance. He… I…”

Skyfall fell silent; picking at her food. A shiver rippled through her plates.

“What?” He asked as he watch her. “I take either you killed him or your creator killed him.

"I started it." Skyfall explained softly. She slowly brough a servo to cover her optic, "I took his eye. It was the only thing I could do. I was there for a month..."

Her servo dropped, "The crew he was with finished it. He was taken apart for parts. Along with me."

Flying Dreams 2 (Closed RP)

He slept undisturbed by their banter, if anything, it relaxed him. Light-Edge was happy to be held, and in the presence of two who clearly were comfortable with one another. One winglet would twitch when Skyfall spoke, the other reacted when Night Glide did, as his own field was relatively inert from sleep. 

Skyfall noticed the little switching twitches. She gently rubbed his back.

Night Glide chuckled as well. It was unbearably cute. The Seeker forgot how sweet sparklings where.

He purred at their affection, leaning into the touches unconsciously. He reached out and ended up taking one of the mech’s digits in his servo, curling into it and enjoying the contact.

Night Glide smiled a little. He gently wiggled the captured digit to stroke his cheek.

“Watch out, Light-Edge.” He purred, “You need to be careful. My talons are sharp…”

The Sparkling sighed, releasing his grip on the finger and just enjoyed the sensation instead. He blinked his eyes open, awakened by the fluctuation of fields and finding sleep too difficult now, but still tired. He found himself purring and turning his head for the talon to better scratch certain areas of his helm.

Night Glide chuckled. He gently scratched inbetween loose plates. “How does that feel better?”

He chirped happily in reply, nuzzling against the Seeker. His engine clicked back on with its purr, contently humming as he relaxed in the mech’s grip.

Skyfall hummed softy with a warm smile on her face. She kissed Glide’s cheek then Light-Edge’s.

“I’ll start dinner.” She said as she slipped of the couch.

He watched her as she walked away, eyes glued to the femme as she went out of his field of view. He could still sense her EM field, so her wasn’t too worried, but he did press into the mech for extra comfort. He chirped, a bit confused by it all.

“You’re alright…” Night Glide purred. He peeked into the crib. “Ah. This will help.”

The seeker took out Light-Edge’s plush and booped him softly.

All his anxiety melted in that moment and he looped his arms around the turbofox’s neck in a hug. He rumbled happily, shoving his face into the fur, winglets fluttering from his excitement.

Night Glide chuckled softly. He pet Light-Edge’s helm as he looked about the room. More specifically, the collection of sparkling needs that his mate had splurged on.

“Looks like you have Skyfall wrapped around your little digits.” He mused with a hearty chuckle.

The sparkling looked up at his with wide optics, trilling with a small grin. The mech’s words were lost on him, but there was a subtle warm glow in his field, so it couldn’t be bad. He raise the plush to the Seeker’s chin, smooshing its nose lightly against his plating.

“Oh, thank you.” Night Glide playfully purred, “Quite a charmer you are.”

He chimed a giggle in response, pulling the plush back close and snuggling into it. A small servo patted the mech’s chin, mimicking how he’d been pet earlier.

Night Glide purred deeper. He lowered his helm down to allow Light-Edge to bat at him better.

“Giving me pets now?” He asked.

His wings shivered and he cooed a soothing sequence of notes before cuddling up under the Seeker’s chin and resting his head on his shoulder.

Night Glide gently held Light-Edge against him. He ran his palm on the sparkling’s back plates once again before joining Skyfall in the kitchen.

“I’ve been captured.” He announced with a smirk.

Skyfall giggled, “He’s good at that. Little sparkling servos.”

He swiveled his head towards the sound of the femme’s voice, a bubbly trill announcing his happiness before he tucked himself back into his curled position. He was still tired, but too excited to fall back asleep, but the air was pleasantly charged with the others’ fields, so he was lulled all the same.

“Of course,” he grinned. “It’s part of why they’re mostly good ones, and those that aren’t, well, those were my fuck ups.” He shrugged, “gotta own ‘em.”

Skyfall chuckled a little, “Now you’re just being hard on yourself. You’ve never fucked up. Not since I’ve known you.”

He laughed, “I mean, there was the whole episode of warnings and dreams before the Caminus-Velocitron gala, the time I got turned into a literal child, and then the, well,” he looked down at the floor. 

“The five-year gap.” He shuffled, “I’m only just getting back on my feet again, thus the desk job at the precinct.” 

A bright light flashed outside the window.

“We got a lead on them, you know,” he said as the thunder rolled distantly. “I’m not allowed on the operation, but they should be caught soon. Don’t know much about any of it still, but,” he crossed his arms, as if the thought made him cold. “I’m not sure how they’d even get a trial, it’s just that bad.”

Skyfall gently climbed up onto the mech's crosses arms; using it as a platform so she could be at his optic level.

Light-Edge barely spoke about the gap. No one ever spoke about it. You wouldn't even know that the poor bot was basically a data mule for the last five years. That he almost died because if it. Ratchet did that good of a job rebuilding him.

Skyfall cupped his cheek and nuzzled into it. She just wanted to hold him and make sure that something like that never happened again.

I'm back baby. Sorry for the disappearance. A lit of shit just happened in my personal life; namely we are severely understaffed at work. I suddenly went from working 15hrs a week to 40. And I'll probably be working those kinds of hours for the next little while. Since I'm basically the most senor member on staff that's not a manager.

I finally got a day off so I'll be replying to them, but for the near future, I'm more or less on a semi hiatus.

“Of course he would, you’re family, and he worries about all o us even when he doesn’t have to,” he stepped aside, inviting her into his minimalistic room. “He still checks me over after my longer shifts at the precinct, as if sitting at a desk job is going to prompt me to develop some terrible malfunction.”

The mechling turned to look at the window after a particularly bright flash of lightning lit up the room for a nanosecond. “Snacks sound great. The lightning’s finally picking up, but thankfully it’s far enough away that the thunder shouldn’t be too loud.”

“Thank Primus for the both of us.”

Skyfall walked into the room. She carefully climbed up onto the windowsill; setting the plate of cookies next to her.

“Actually, that’s Ratchet’s doing. He fixed my audios. I can control volume again. Apparently Shockwave took this part out sometime during the War and it was set to the highest setting. Least now I don’t hear through walls anymore.”

“Good, glad to know you wont be as susceptible to sound headaches,” he’d always felt bad when those happened, as there was little he could do help mitigate them. “And that base is insulated for ballistics and heavy firepower, so I don’t think thunder would pose too much of an issue here anyways.”

He walked over to the window, watching the sheets of rain make lakes out in the distant valleys. “It sounds like thick static,” he said after a while. “Hence the song.”

Skyfall smiled softly, “Poetic. Never thought of the sound of rain like that.” She chuckled and added, “Did it sound like that on Earth as well?”

“Depended on how hard the storm was, but yeah,” he nodded. “Always sort of loved how the song captured that ambience, like, caught between sad and nostalgic.” He paused, thinking for a moment with his eyes fixed on the horizon. “Solace is a good word for it, I guess.”

Skyfall nodded. She leaned against the mech’s plating. “That’s understandable… Thunderstorms are always nostalgic… Calming.”

“Yeah,” he grinned. “Though nothing beats stargazing if you just want to feel humbled by everything. Storms just feel closer to home, you know? Like, almost insulating you from the universe because suddenly the sky is gone, whereas on clear nights when you see it all, it’s breathtaking.” 

A bright flash of white lit up the distant clouds from within, a bass rumble finally answering after a long pause. 

“Always wanted a UV tattoo of a lightning bolt,” he said after some time. “Knew someone who got struck by a real one when I was a kid, and I was just fascinated by the scar it left.” Another flash, another boom. “I liked her, she was a good neighbor. Always let me pet her cat and give it some treats.”

“What makes you stop getting it?” Skyfall asked, “I think it would be pretty cool.” She looked up at him and smiled, “And it would suit you.”

He snickered, “you’re not going to believe this, but I had a metal allergy as a human. Some tattoo inks use metals in their pigment and basically, my skin would have started to attack itself because my immune system would see it as some sort of threat. Tried to have a piercing once, kept getting infected because my body was convinced it was something that needed to be destroyed, even though I kept everything clean. Both my mom and the doctor said it’d probably be a bad idea.” 

He shrugged, “never really looked too much into what was in the UV ink to see if I’d actually have a reaction or not. Besides, the nearest high-rated shop was over three hours away.”

Skyfall chuckled. She tapped his plates and said, “Well, you’re not allergic to metal metal now. And Ratchet would have told you if you where. It’s something you could do now.”

The Minicon settled back down and said, “Speaking about tattoos, I always wanted one too.”

“I don’t even want to imagine what that’d be like,” he laughed, before giving her latter comment more thought.

“I didn’t really think they were a thing here,” he admitted, looking at the femme with a sheepish expression. “I kind of thought they were culturally significant things, like how some forms of it were on Earth.” He shrugged, “not really sure of how it’d even be done.”

“It’s a bit of both, really.” Skyfall explained, “It’s a ritual thing, but a lot of bots get them cause they just looks nice. I know that the Camiens value them for ceremonies.”

He crossed his arms a bit nervously, “I mean, if they have cultural significance then I probably shouldn’t. I’m not technically even from Iacon, let alone Cybertron, so I think that’d be kind of presumptuous of me to go ahead and get one.” He sounded disappointed, but not surprised.

“How about detailing?” Skyfall offered, “It’s not as permanent, but it’s more widely accepted. Detailing sits on top of your paint. While, actual tattooing is more like scarification on Earth. You get little channels carved out of your plating and filled with paint.”

“They both sound so cool,” he mumbled, a bit shy about the somewhat childish naivety of the remark. It wasn’t often he acted his age, but it always took him by surprise when he did give in to those impulses -even if only for a turn of phrase. 

“I’d have to check the police protocol to make sure it’s okay, but otherwise, yeah, that sounds a bit better.” He paused, “wait, tattooing is more like engraving. Is that different from just, I don’t know, normal designs I guess? Because the entire team here has engravings.”

Skyfall smiled a bit, “It’s similar. Yes. You should ask them about their engravings.”

“I will, though I’m not sure Optimus even knows he’s got some?” He frowned, recalling the memory, “maybe he just doesn’t remember getting them, but I’ve caught him catching his own reflection and looking somewhat surprised sometimes. Otherwise, sure, I’ll see if Arcee wants to share the story behind hers, or Bee since he thinks that no one has noticed his yet.”

Skyfall chuckled softly, “I can see Bee being sneaky with his.”

“I mean, it’s why I have to clarify whether or not we can have them? Technically I don’t think officers are meant to have too many memorable markers. Smokescreen has a few but I think they’re more likely a symbol of the Elite Guard. Same with Magnus.”

“Well, there’s only one way to find out really.” Skyfall smiled softly, “Once you know, do you think you would get one?”

A thought came to her and Skyfall chuckled, “Your poor mom. I’m just picturing what she would say.”

“Once I give it some thought, probably,” he conceded, turning back to watch the rain. “Surprised I waited this long, actually.”

He snorted at the comment, “as long as it’s not obscene, I don’t think she’d have an issue. Besides, these look pretty consistently nice whereas tattoos varied wildly in style and quality on Earth. I guess there’s a different mindset around them here.”

Skyfall smiled warmly, “You’re a pretty cool kid, Light. Do you know that?”

“Really? I always thought I was pretty boring. I mean, before any of, well, this-” he gestured towards his chassis, “-I didn’t exactly do much.” He’d even been repeatedly told as much by his peers at the time, and though he couldn’t blame them, it’d still hurt back when such things held weight. 

‘Cool’ hadn’t ever been something he’d really applied to himself, he felt fake every time he’d tried and the effort had never seemed worth it.

Skyfall smiled a little. She shook her helm in disagreement.

“You’ve never been boring. Ever since day one.” Skyfall explained, “I can tell you for sure that my life has been a little bit brighter with you now in it. I mean that, kiddo.”

“I mean, my name is Light-Edge,” he snickered, a bit flustered. “But, thank you,” he gave the femme a genuine smile. “My life’s been a lot better since you started coming around too. I would not be where I am today without your support and patience. Heck, I’m not sure where I’d be.”

“Hold up in here still probably.” Skyfall teased lightly as she gestured around the room.

“Yeah, probably,” he chuckled, looking at the few items he’d decorated the barren space with. Stepping over to a shelf, he took down a small, fluffy item. He turned it towards the Minicon.

A turbofox plush. “Still don’t remember that week, like, at all.” He replaced it on the shelf, “but I’m glad for all the other memories I’ve made.”

“Of course he would, you’re family, and he worries about all o us even when he doesn’t have to,” he stepped aside, inviting her into his minimalistic room. “He still checks me over after my longer shifts at the precinct, as if sitting at a desk job is going to prompt me to develop some terrible malfunction.”

The mechling turned to look at the window after a particularly bright flash of lightning lit up the room for a nanosecond. “Snacks sound great. The lightning’s finally picking up, but thankfully it’s far enough away that the thunder shouldn’t be too loud.”

“Thank Primus for the both of us.”

Skyfall walked into the room. She carefully climbed up onto the windowsill; setting the plate of cookies next to her.

“Actually, that’s Ratchet’s doing. He fixed my audios. I can control volume again. Apparently Shockwave took this part out sometime during the War and it was set to the highest setting. Least now I don’t hear through walls anymore.”

“Good, glad to know you wont be as susceptible to sound headaches,” he’d always felt bad when those happened, as there was little he could do help mitigate them. “And that base is insulated for ballistics and heavy firepower, so I don’t think thunder would pose too much of an issue here anyways.”

He walked over to the window, watching the sheets of rain make lakes out in the distant valleys. “It sounds like thick static,” he said after a while. “Hence the song.”

Skyfall smiled softly, “Poetic. Never thought of the sound of rain like that.” She chuckled and added, “Did it sound like that on Earth as well?”

“Depended on how hard the storm was, but yeah,” he nodded. “Always sort of loved how the song captured that ambience, like, caught between sad and nostalgic.” He paused, thinking for a moment with his eyes fixed on the horizon. “Solace is a good word for it, I guess.”

Skyfall nodded. She leaned against the mech’s plating. “That’s understandable… Thunderstorms are always nostalgic… Calming.”

“Yeah,” he grinned. “Though nothing beats stargazing if you just want to feel humbled by everything. Storms just feel closer to home, you know? Like, almost insulating you from the universe because suddenly the sky is gone, whereas on clear nights when you see it all, it’s breathtaking.” 

A bright flash of white lit up the distant clouds from within, a bass rumble finally answering after a long pause. 

“Always wanted a UV tattoo of a lightning bolt,” he said after some time. “Knew someone who got struck by a real one when I was a kid, and I was just fascinated by the scar it left.” Another flash, another boom. “I liked her, she was a good neighbor. Always let me pet her cat and give it some treats.”

“What makes you stop getting it?” Skyfall asked, “I think it would be pretty cool.” She looked up at him and smiled, “And it would suit you.”

He snickered, “you’re not going to believe this, but I had a metal allergy as a human. Some tattoo inks use metals in their pigment and basically, my skin would have started to attack itself because my immune system would see it as some sort of threat. Tried to have a piercing once, kept getting infected because my body was convinced it was something that needed to be destroyed, even though I kept everything clean. Both my mom and the doctor said it’d probably be a bad idea.” 

He shrugged, “never really looked too much into what was in the UV ink to see if I’d actually have a reaction or not. Besides, the nearest high-rated shop was over three hours away.”

Skyfall chuckled. She tapped his plates and said, “Well, you’re not allergic to metal metal now. And Ratchet would have told you if you where. It’s something you could do now.”

The Minicon settled back down and said, “Speaking about tattoos, I always wanted one too.”

“I don’t even want to imagine what that’d be like,” he laughed, before giving her latter comment more thought.

“I didn’t really think they were a thing here,” he admitted, looking at the femme with a sheepish expression. “I kind of thought they were culturally significant things, like how some forms of it were on Earth.” He shrugged, “not really sure of how it’d even be done.”

“It’s a bit of both, really.” Skyfall explained, “It’s a ritual thing, but a lot of bots get them cause they just looks nice. I know that the Camiens value them for ceremonies.”

He crossed his arms a bit nervously, “I mean, if they have cultural significance then I probably shouldn’t. I’m not technically even from Iacon, let alone Cybertron, so I think that’d be kind of presumptuous of me to go ahead and get one.” He sounded disappointed, but not surprised.

“How about detailing?” Skyfall offered, “It’s not as permanent, but it’s more widely accepted. Detailing sits on top of your paint. While, actual tattooing is more like scarification on Earth. You get little channels carved out of your plating and filled with paint.”

“They both sound so cool,” he mumbled, a bit shy about the somewhat childish naivety of the remark. It wasn’t often he acted his age, but it always took him by surprise when he did give in to those impulses -even if only for a turn of phrase. 

“I’d have to check the police protocol to make sure it’s okay, but otherwise, yeah, that sounds a bit better.” He paused, “wait, tattooing is more like engraving. Is that different from just, I don’t know, normal designs I guess? Because the entire team here has engravings.”

Skyfall smiled a bit, “It’s similar. Yes. You should ask them about their engravings.”

“I will, though I’m not sure Optimus even knows he’s got some?” He frowned, recalling the memory, “maybe he just doesn’t remember getting them, but I’ve caught him catching his own reflection and looking somewhat surprised sometimes. Otherwise, sure, I’ll see if Arcee wants to share the story behind hers, or Bee since he thinks that no one has noticed his yet.”

Skyfall chuckled softly, “I can see Bee being sneaky with his.”

“I mean, it’s why I have to clarify whether or not we can have them? Technically I don’t think officers are meant to have too many memorable markers. Smokescreen has a few but I think they’re more likely a symbol of the Elite Guard. Same with Magnus.”

“Well, there’s only one way to find out really.” Skyfall smiled softly, “Once you know, do you think you would get one?”

A thought came to her and Skyfall chuckled, “Your poor mom. I’m just picturing what she would say.”

“Once I give it some thought, probably,” he conceded, turning back to watch the rain. “Surprised I waited this long, actually.”

He snorted at the comment, “as long as it’s not obscene, I don’t think she’d have an issue. Besides, these look pretty consistently nice whereas tattoos varied wildly in style and quality on Earth. I guess there’s a different mindset around them here.”

Skyfall smiled warmly, “You’re a pretty cool kid, Light. Do you know that?”

“Really? I always thought I was pretty boring. I mean, before any of, well, this-” he gestured towards his chassis, “-I didn’t exactly do much.” He’d even been repeatedly told as much by his peers at the time, and though he couldn’t blame them, it’d still hurt back when such things held weight. 

‘Cool’ hadn’t ever been something he’d really applied to himself, he felt fake every time he’d tried and the effort had never seemed worth it.

Skyfall smiled a little. She shook her helm in disagreement.

“You’ve never been boring. Ever since day one.” Skyfall explained, “I can tell you for sure that my life has been a little bit brighter with you now in it. I mean that, kiddo.”

“I mean, my name is Light-Edge,” he snickered, a bit flustered. “But, thank you,” he gave the femme a genuine smile. “My life’s been a lot better since you started coming around too. I would not be where I am today without your support and patience. Heck, I’m not sure where I’d be.”

He slept undisturbed by their banter, if anything, it relaxed him. Light-Edge was happy to be held, and in the presence of two who clearly were comfortable with one another. One winglet would twitch when Skyfall spoke, the other reacted when Night Glide did, as his own field was relatively inert from sleep. 

Skyfall noticed the little switching twitches. She gently rubbed his back.

Night Glide chuckled as well. It was unbearably cute. The Seeker forgot how sweet sparklings where.

He purred at their affection, leaning into the touches unconsciously. He reached out and ended up taking one of the mech’s digits in his servo, curling into it and enjoying the contact.

Night Glide smiled a little. He gently wiggled the captured digit to stroke his cheek.

“Watch out, Light-Edge.” He purred, “You need to be careful. My talons are sharp…”

The Sparkling sighed, releasing his grip on the finger and just enjoyed the sensation instead. He blinked his eyes open, awakened by the fluctuation of fields and finding sleep too difficult now, but still tired. He found himself purring and turning his head for the talon to better scratch certain areas of his helm.

Night Glide chuckled. He gently scratched inbetween loose plates. “How does that feel better?”

He chirped happily in reply, nuzzling against the Seeker. His engine clicked back on with its purr, contently humming as he relaxed in the mech’s grip.

Skyfall hummed softy with a warm smile on her face. She kissed Glide’s cheek then Light-Edge’s.

“I’ll start dinner.” She said as she slipped of the couch.

He watched her as she walked away, eyes glued to the femme as she went out of his field of view. He could still sense her EM field, so her wasn’t too worried, but he did press into the mech for extra comfort. He chirped, a bit confused by it all.

“You’re alright…” Night Glide purred. He peeked into the crib. “Ah. This will help.”

The seeker took out Light-Edge’s plush and booped him softly.

All his anxiety melted in that moment and he looped his arms around the turbofox’s neck in a hug. He rumbled happily, shoving his face into the fur, winglets fluttering from his excitement.

Night Glide chuckled softly. He pet Light-Edge’s helm as he looked about the room. More specifically, the collection of sparkling needs that his mate had splurged on.

“Looks like you have Skyfall wrapped around your little digits.” He mused with a hearty chuckle.

The sparkling looked up at his with wide optics, trilling with a small grin. The mech’s words were lost on him, but there was a subtle warm glow in his field, so it couldn’t be bad. He raise the plush to the Seeker’s chin, smooshing its nose lightly against his plating.

Bio: Techwave used to be a happy and laid-back bot. After the war started she became part of the decepticon army and with this decision her character changed a lot. Her self-destructive behavior and the experiments carried out on her own body caused her to lose her head since many were a failure. Countless describe Techwave as crazy, outspoken with a rough tone, she just tells what she think wich usually brings her in trouble. She’s rather unpredictable and she likes risk. Science is Techwave’s passion. The hunger for experiments awas directed especially on living objects and on her own too in case of emergency.

Techwave’s body is very light and sleek, which makes her really agile, fast and jump quite high. The problem is her inexperience in fighting and therefore she let’s the members of her team do the main part of the job before striking the enemy out in the ambush.

“What’s wrong, love?”

Night Glide nodded. He slipped off the bed; holding her close to his chest. He sniffed around.

“Smell that?” He asked, “Smells like Skyfall is making something.”
