"What exactly is that supposed to mean?" She asked, not sure whether to take his words as an insult or as a compliment. Not that she was looking for any—but she would’ve at least liked to have heard a straight forward honest response.Â
"Well, it's true. The mirror never lies or what do you mean?" Liam shrugged his shoulders unsure if it was clear words or if she looked for an reply how she looked like.
None knows. Only you and Kyson. I’ve no idea where I can hide it. Somewhere I guess there none can find it.
Well, good. I don't know either. That's up to you but if I were you I wouldn't keep everything in my apartment, for the safety. Hide it in a locker or something outside of town? Because everyone here seems to be way too curious.

I already did and it’s missing but not as much as I imagined. As it feels now I’m not sure I can keep all of it in my apartment. I have to find a safer place to hide everything, there only I know of them.
And where would that be? Outside of town? Who else knows about your job? If you've told someone.
No, I’m not serious. It’s all just a joke. Yes, what do you think? I am serious and I’m angry with myself because I don’t know if something important is gone. I’ve no idea if all the stuff are still hidden, if something of it is gone. I’m trying to count but I’ve no idea how much I had.

I was gone one night and the first thing I see when I come home is that someone broke into my apartment and stole my TV. It’s always fantastic when it happens to you, right?

Nikki was enjoying the party for the most part, nursing her drink somewhat on the sidelines. People were just so interesting to watch and so far, she hadn’t been contacted by any human kings. It was a good night. She debated venturing out onto the dance floor, but hadn’t had that many drinks yet. That sort of dancing was still about one or two drinks off for her. Nikki started to turn in order to fetch another drink, but just as she did a man bumped into her. Luckily her cup was drained or it probably would have spilled all over her. He apologized but she waved it off. “Oh, no problem. I’m not really that great either. I’m Nikki, by the way.” It was a fight to be heard over the music, so she had to lean in and sort of yell.Â
He was glad she waved it off and that there none got hurt. It seemed that she was rather new around here too, although he was not new but he was a stranger in this house and hadn’t met many people yet because he was too busy with working “Nice to meet you, Nikki. I’m William and I’m not used to parties like this” He said. When he had drunk alcohol he could talk a lot about random things "Do you know anyone here?"
"That’s funny, I was just wondering the same thing about you. I’m Johanna and yeah, I’m a nurse there. Well…I mean, I’m training to be a nurse there. " She tilted her head up at him, trying to recall whether she’d actually ever seen him at the hospital herself. She blamed the alcohol in her system for the fact that she couldn’t remember him. "You work at the hospital too? What do you do there?"
"Really?" Liam raised an eyebrow and listened to her as he nodded his head "So now the mystery is solved. I think I've seen you walk past" He said "Yes, I'm a little everywhere. I'm a surgeon but also helps with other things if someone need a helping hand" Liam nodded his head again and drank from the glass. Then he ordered a vodka "I probably don't look like I know so much about medical things, but I know more than people expect. Alright, sorry talking too much now"
Meredith’s jaw dropped at that. “What?! Stories??” Crap, there was so much about her in the gossip columns she wasn’t even sure what he might’ve heard. But she was more than willing to go to certain measures to find out. Quickly she raised another shot-glass and offered it to him. “What stories!?” She demanded curiously.Â
"Nothing too bad. I just heard about your name from someone and only a few things but does it matter?" Would he tell the girl that he had heard her name from Stefan? He wasn't sure how much Stefan had told her, if he had told her anything at all "From Stefan Lightwood. Does that ring a bell?"
Johanna turned suddenly to her right. She’d barely caught the sound of his voice over the blaring sound of the music and loud banter. “Oh yeah! I have. And I definitely recommend them. They are perhaps one of this party’s main features.” Said JJ as she smiled at the man who seemed awfully familiar. She couldn’t quite tell where she’d seen him, perhaps in passing at some point. “Don’t ask me about what’s in them though. Our hostess refuses to divulge the details of her rather lethal concoctions.”
"Great" Liam nodded his head and sipped on the drink. It was better than he had expected. Perhaps he got luck and didn't get a spiked drink, if they were "Probably doesn't matter" He said, then looked to the young woman "Have we met before? You look familiar. Do you work at the hospital? I think I've may seen you there"
Stefan had tried to look around after William but could not see the man here yet but he would probably not come, Stefan thought to himself. After two hours of walking around the house he got tired and his feet started to hurt too so he had to rest for a bit. Stefan walked over to the bar and sat down beside an unknown person he probably hadn’t met before. When he heard the man’s voice he turned his head to his direction “Liam? Hey!” He punched his friend’s arm lightly “Yes, I have and you should try it. But a warning..” He leaned closer to William “They’re spiked. I think Meredith did it, but I can be wrong so don’t take me too serious now” He let out a laugh and leaned back in his chair and ordered a drink to himself.
Liam frowned when he heard Stefan's voice beside him. It was a surprise that the man came to the party "Are you sure?" he asked uncertainly and looked down to the glass in his hands "Really?" He looked up at Stefan again and raised an eyebrow "With what? Who's.. oh..Meredith? The girl you spoke about?"
"Well this is fun..."
Brody’s head turned to a familiar voice and he raised an eyebrow “I found something entertaining now, don’t worry William. Fancy parties?” He let out a laugh “They’re not as entertaining. They’re like the party they’ve on the movie The Great Gatsby if you’ve seen the movie? And that’s a fancy party and I was on a party like that last year. You can never compare that to this and here you can hear a lot of gossip, not there. See the difference? Once you find something entertaining to put your focus on it gets more interesting” A smirk formed on the mayor’s lips and he sipped on his drink.
"I haven't seen the movie you're speaking about, Lahey. You're an odd mayor. You're a person none knows where they have you. Are you going to stay over the night? And disappear tomorrow morning?" Liam inquired and looked at the man beside him, sipping from his glass.
William sat by the bar and held his hands wrapped around the glass. He still hadn't touched the drink and had no clue yet if he should do. If this was like the parties he gone to as a young boy, he wasn't sure it was safe to taste the drink if someone had spiked it. Was it worth the risk? He glanced over to a person that sat down beside him to order a drink "Have you tasted one of these welcoming drinks yet?" William inquired.Â
If you was curious you had to ask and he didn't want to wake up tomorrow morning with memory loss and not remembering what had happened. That'd be a bummer and he would not let anything make him feel down tonight either. Tonight was all about having fun and being social to people he'd never met before. So bad couldn't it be, right? He only saw the people who wander around at the hospital daily but this was something different now.
A few too many.
Carter stood above on top of the balcony, watching as more and more people came inside, he noticed Meredith greeting everyone as they walked in. He scanned the crowd for a certain face but wasn’t able to find her. Carter found himself already a few drinks deep and decided it was about time to speak to his guests, he walked down the stairs and recognized the first fave he came in contact to, “Hey! I’m glad you can make it!”
"Hey, yeah..um.." Liam looked at Carter confusedly "Are you the one who owns this house?" He raised an eyebrow and looked around himself "I think I've met you before...?" He definitely had met Carter before because he could recognize his face "Quite funny that you throw a party the day before full moon" Liam continued jokingly "Not that it perhaps is bad, it's just.. Never mind."
"Well this is fun..."
Brody murmured to himself sarcastically as he walked around with the bottle in a tight grip in his hand and a glass in the other hand and stared at the people he walked past. This party was already boring because nothing happened yet. He stopped in a corner and leaned against the wall and sipped from the drink, then his bottle “Been on a better party..” he murmured again.
"And you look happy" Liam walked up beside the mayor "If it's so bad, then why are you here? Why not go to your other fancy parties?"
Meredith stared at the man for a moment before putting on a hostess-smile that she’d perfected over the course of the afternoon. ”William, right?” She asked, remembering his name from the last time they’d met. She flicked her hair over her shoulder and offered him a shot-glass. “Here, have a drink. It’ll make the party easier on you in case things get awkward later on.”
William nodded his head and took the shot-glass she offered him "Yep, that'd be me and you're Meredith? I've heard stories about you" He grimaced a bit and turned away to look around "Quite the good stories" He looked back at her.
