for the development question meme, 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9 (odd numbers ftw)
1. How does/would your character react to unwanted sexual advances?
First time is a warning. She would first tell him or her to kindly stop, and if she were bothered again, Skyla would be furious— especially if the offender is male, she would give him a good kick to the groin and most likely start screaming profanities at him. She’s a fierce little powerhouse.
>3. Is your character religious? If so, do they follow the (or one of the) major religion(s) of their culture, or a different one? If not, are they more of an atheist, agnostic, or spiritualist (or none of the above)?
She believes in Arceusism, but she isn’t really that religious. She celebrates the holidays associated with her religion, but she isn’t like a really religious person if that makes sense? She believes in Arceus, but she doesn’t pray or anything like that.
5. Your character believes something that is at odds with what the rest of their family and/or friends believe. Do they talk about it with them? If so, how do they approach the subject?
I definitely think she would! Skyla is one who stands up for her beliefs no matter what anyone else thinks. However, she’d approach the subject with caution, making sure not to ruffle any feathers (ha ha…).
7. Is your character the type of person to correct someone’s grammar when they’re speaking? Conversely, how would they react to someone correcting their improper grammar?
Absolutely not. While she isn’t dumb, Skyla definitely doesn’t have perfect grammar. She could honestly care less what anyone else says— she doesn’t even notice half of the grammatical errors people make. When someone corrects her, she’ll shrug it off, say ‘whatever’, and move on. She can’t dwell on it too much because she really doesn’t care.
9. Does your character prefer living alone, or with family, friends/roommates, significant other(s), etc.?
Skyla likes to have someone around with her. She doesn’t like the quiet and she thinks it feels wrong when the house isn’t lit up with another person’s company. She definitely would prefer to have a friend or a family member living with her, but as of right now she lives alone.
