I imagine there are artifacts, objects or individuals that are so rare, powerful, or otherwise significant that many Guardians feel the pull to them. Imagine being someone with like 38 Guardians protecting you?

They follow the dragon around like bodyguards trying to protect the president and talk to each other through walkie talkies

The charge itself doesn’t know WHY all of these guardians are following them but can’t really escape them either so they just accept their fate

Realised there was a dearth of cryptid ladies in my Hewn City crew so my most recent impulse buy has lore now (still no name tho)

She’s a jumble of bones, leaves, flowers and feathers, wrapped in cloth scraps and pushed about by the breeze to mimic a dragon moving. She insists she is a dragon, and while her fellow cryptids don’t believe her (they think she’s more likely a wind spirit with an identity crisis), they see no harm humouring her about it

She’s pretty fun to be around and loves pulling pranks on mortals who wander into the City, but is a lil oversensitive to criticism (& people implying her she’s not actually a Regular Old Boring Skydancer, How Dare You, Stern Letter To Follow)
