Im scared about the Gorillaz animated series coming out next year because it will be subject to the same standards Tumblr has set for other cartoons (whose names we don’t have to bring up). While the criticism of these series is 100% valid and understandable; the drama and fandom tension that comes out of criticism and debates is emotionally draining and, in my case, has made me dislike franchises as a whole and not only the fandoms that support them. I’m scared of the day the writers are going to do something messed up and the fandom will explode, I’m scared that inapropiate people will harass the animation team or hewll or Damon, I am so scared of things that haven’t happened my dudes! Like, I really don’t want Gorillaz to become ‘one of those dramatic fandoms’ (more than it already is), but a lot of people are going to be dragged here thanks to the animation… And you know what, it’s cool that more people will listen to the music and learn about the lore but… They’re going to have a storm coming EVERYONE IS HAVING A STORM COMING!!!!!

Timelines in the plot that I wish I had the specifics of but remain huge question marks that will never be answered, a list:

- D-Day (how long was 2D’s coma? Which day is it referring to exactly?) - The time between 2D joining and Russel joining (how long was it just 2D and Murdoc?) - The length of time Murdoc was in prison in Mexico between phase 1 and 2 - The length of time Murdoc was in prison after plastic beach and before phase 4 - The year they moved to Detroit (supposedly?) and why (and does wobble street fit into it at all?)
