🌸 My Love 🐉

I finally finished this piece of a pairing I came up with many years ago, and I decided to call it: plantdragonshipping ✨

This piece is very important for me because it features one of my favorite pokemon shippings ^^ and also, a very rare one because I created it, basically (a solo shipper, yay! XD). So well, I wanted to portray them, to have a physical representation of them, and here it is ^^ Hopefully, I will make more drawings of them, and maybe edit this post explaining how I came up with this pairing.

I decided to give them a "shipping name" and after thinking about it a lot I decided to call it: plantdragonshipping. I went through other names but I figured it would be better to stick to a simple one that is very symbolic for them. Also, I chose "plant" for Gardenia instead of "grass" because, even though the Pokemon type is "grass", she is called "The Master of Vivid Plant Pokemon" so it suits her better ^^ I find it cool that they're both considered masters of their own type of pokemon, so I think using that for the ship name is pretty accurate.

I hope you like this piece as much as I do! Don't know if it will catch anyone's attention considering is a very rare shipping, but you can still enjoy the illustration! Thank you for reading! ♥

Lance is deeply grateful for all the love and support we've given him throughout these years 💕

I can't believe this is the final Lance Week, I am thankful I had the opportunity to participate in two of them 💝

Day 6 - Future ⭐

As a Dragon Master, he worked hard to be a good role model for the younger generations. And when he was able to grant them such title, his heart was filled with joy.

This was inspired by some of his lines in PokeMas. I think when he retires from being a Champion, he would like to spend time training new generations of Dragon Masters and teaching them all that he learned during his journey ^^

Day 5 - Hope 💝

Saving a life won't change the world. But it means the world to the one you saved. And that is totally worth it.

In case it's not very visible, the little one Lance saved is an Eevee ^^ and yes, he used his cape to give the Eevee some warmth, comfort and protection ♡

Day 4 - Crowned 👑

"It's... thanks to them. We are all Champions!"

Day 3 - Recovered

Dragonair was the first to hatch. He was strong and reliable. He thought he had to be a role model for his brothers, and make Lance proud. But his trainer was already proud, and made sure to teach him the value of failing and learning.

Day 2 - Defeat.

For him, the worst defeat wasn't losing in a pokemon battle. The worst defeat was when he failed them, those he vowed to protect... That is defeat. That is heartbreak. That is tears of gold falling, mourning the loss, regretting his failure.

I pictured this taking place in one of his first missions as G-Men. He and his group arrived at the scene, but it was too late. The fire had consumed it all... despite their efforts, no one could be saved.

Day 1 - The Journey Begins 💫

Lance was given three Dratini eggs. Two of them hatched before his journey began, but the last one needed a bit more time. One thing is for sure: Lance will always take care of them with love and dedication.
